1969
Formula 1 - British Grand Prix - Scot Jackie Stewart (Cosworth) continued his great start to the 1969 season with his 5th win in 6 races but needed a bit of luck to do so. Jochen Rindt (Lotus) led most of the way, with Stewart snapping at his heels, but Rindt had to pit twice late on for maintenance and fuel which allowed Stewart to take the lead and the race. Formula 1 - British Grand Prix - Ruebens Barrichello (Ferrari) wins a wild race that had many lead changes and even a fan on the track (8, 2 Discs, BBC - Allen/Brundle, PAL)

Formula 1 - Canadian Grand Prix - Lewis Hamilton (McClaren) wins his 1st Grand Prix in only his 6th race, overcoming 4 safety car appearances and an awesome accident from Robert Kubica (10, 2 Discs, BBC - Allen/Brundle, PAL)

2008

Formula 1 -
Brazilian Grand Prix - In the final race of the season, Lewis Hamilton needed to finish 5th or better to become the youngest ever winner of the World Championship. His nearest rival, Brazilian Felippe Massa, knew that for him to win the title he needed to win and hope that Hamilton finished 6th. Massa did all he could and won the race and it looked like he would win the title as Hamilton was 6th coming up to the last corner on the last lap. But Hamilton sensationally overtook the 5th place driver to win the title (10, 3 Discs, ITV - Allen/Brundle, PAL)

2009
Formula 1 - Brazilian Grand Prix - In the penultimate race of the season, Jenson Button (Brawn GP) knew that he only had to finish no more than 3 places behind team-mate Ruebens Barrichello to take his first World Title. Button started 14th on the grid but worked his way up to 5th place with some daring overtaking moves and when Barrichello suffered a puncture that moved him from 3rd to 8th, Button knew the title was his. Formula 1 - United States Grand Prix - In the 1st ever Grand Prix at the new "Circuit of the Americas" in Austin, Texas, Lewis Hamilton (McClaren) claimed his 4th win of the season. Hamilton beat Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) by just six tenths of a second, with Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) finishing 3rd (10, 2 hour hi-lites, 1 Discs, BBC - Edwards/Coulthard/Anderson, PAL)

Formula 1 - Brazilian Grand Prix - In the final race of the season, Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) did just enough to take his 3rd straight drivers championship. Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) needed to win, with Vettel outside the top four or come second with Vettel outside the top seven to claim the title, but at a rainy Interlagos circuit the gods conspired to give Vettel the title. Jenson Button (McClaren) won the race, with Alonso 2nd, but Vettel claimed 6th to take the title by 3 points. The race also marked the final race for Michael Schumacher (Mercedes). 2013
That Petrol Emotion : Motor Racing at the BBC - The BBC trawled it's archives to show the story of early Formula 1 racing. The 4 episodes are The 1950's, The 1960's, The 1970's and an episode about how Tobacco advertising changed the sport (10, 4 episodes of 30 minutes, 1 Disc, BBC, PAL)

Formula 1 - British Grand Prix - In a dramatic race at Silverstone, Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) won his 2nd Grand Prix of the season. The race was marred by spectacular tyre blow-outs on 6 cars which led to Sebastien Vettel (Red Bull) taking the lead early on which he held until 11 laps from the end when he was forced to retire with gearbox trouble. This left Rosbeg to hold off the rest of the field to claim the win with Mark Webber (Red Bull) and Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) claiming 2nd and 3rd (10, 3 Discs, BBC - Edwards/Coulthard/Jordan, PAL)

Formula 1 - British Grand Prix - In the 50th running of the race at Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) closed the gap on championship leader Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) with a great drive from 6th on the starting grid. Hamilton chased down Rosberg, who led from Pole position, but Rosberg suffered Gearbox problems on Lap 28 and was forced to retire. The race also featured a big crash from Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) on the opening lap that damaged the crash barrier and forced a 1 hour delay while it was fixed. 2nd Place went to Valtteri Bottas (Williams) and 3rd place went to Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) (10, 3 Discs, BBC - Edwards/Coulthard/Jordan, PAL)

Formula 1 - Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his 2nd World Championship with a comfortable win in the last race of the season. Hamilton needed to win or finish 2nd to team-mate Nico Rosberg in order to claim the title but after a fast start, Hamilton found himself in front and he led from start to finish, with Rosberg finishing 14th due to car trouble. Lewis Hamilton: Duel of the Silver Arrows 2014 - Suzi Perry, Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard review the 2014 F1 season. Mercedes dominated the competition, with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg taking the fight for the Championship down to the final race. Formula-E - Beijing Grand Prix - In the inaugural event of the 1st ever Electric car motor racing competition, Lucas di Grassi (Audi Sport ABT) sensational claimed the win when the 1st and 2nd place drivers crashed on the final corner. Nicolas Prost (e.dams-Renault) and Nick Heidfeld (Venturi Grand Prix) were battling coming into the final corner of the last lap when Heidfeld was hit by Prost, with Heidfeld's car flipping upside down onto the barriers. With both cars out of action, Di Grassi nipped in to take the win and the points. Formula 1 - US Grand Prix - Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his 3rd World Championship with 3 races to spare in a dramatic win in Austin. Hamilton became only the 2nd British driver to win 3 titles, emulating Jackie Stewart. Hamilton needed to beat team-mate Nico Rosberg and Sebastien Vettel (Ferrari) to win the title and with 8 laps remaining, Hamilton capitalised on an error by race-leader Rosberg to over-take and win the race (9, 1 hour 30 minutes hi-lites, 1 Disc, BBC - Edwards/Coulthard, PAL)

Formula 1 - Mexican Grand Prix - Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his 4th World Championship with 2 races to spare with a 9th place finish in Mexico City. Hamilton's nearest challenger, Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), knew he had to finish first or second to prolong the season, but a first-lap shunt with Hamilton put both drivers at the back of the field early on and Vettel couldn't recover enough to stop Hamilton winning the title. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) won the race, ahead of Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) and Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) with Vettel 4th. Hamilton's Record Breaking Season - A look back at the record-breaking 2017 Formula 1 season, where Mercedes battled Ferrari for the title. Formula 1 - US Grand Prix - Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his 6th World Championship with 2 races to spare with a hard-fought 2nd Place in Austin. With the win, Hamilton moved into 2nd Place all-time in Championship wins, trailing only Michael Schumacher's 7 titles. Hamilton knew he just had to finish in the top 8 to claim the title, and despite starting 5th on the grid, he quickly moved up to the top 3 and held the lead until 3 laps from the end when team-mate Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) over-took to take the win. 2020
Brian Moore Meets...Niki Lauda - First broadcast in 1982, legendary ITV commentator Brian Moore spends time with Formula 1 Legend Niki Lauda, who survived a horrific life-threatening crash at the infamous Nurburgring circuit in 1976. Formula 1 - Turkish Grand Prix - Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his 7th World Championship with a come-from-behind win in Turkey. The 7 World Championships equalled Michael Schumacher's record. Hamilton started the race 6th on the grid after a rain-affected qualifying day, but knew that if he finished 1st or 2nd he would win the title. On a wet track, the top 6 drivers jostled for position as each driver pitted to change their badly-worn tyres, and this allowed Hamilton to eventually move up into first place where he pulled away for the win. 2022
Formula 1 - British Grand Prix - In a dramatic British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Carlos Sainz Jnr (Ferrari) won his first ever F1 Grand Prix, holding off Sergio Perez (Red Bull) in 2nd and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) in 3rd. The race was full of incident including a 6-car pile-up on the 1st corner in which Zhou Guanyu (Alfa Romeo) flipped upside down and vaulted the tyre-wall before crashing into the wire fence. Amazingly, he escaped injury. Championship leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished 7th (9, 46 minutes hi-lites, 1 Disc, Channel 4 - Jacques/Coulthard/Webber, PAL)

2023
Sheene - To commemorate 20 years since his death, BT Sport looks back at the life and career of arguably Britain's most successful motorcycle rider, Barry Sheene.
