US Masters - American Arnold Palmer won his 2nd US Masters title with a tight win. Palmer birdied his last 2 holes to win by 1 shot over fellow American Ken Venturi. US Masters - American Jack Nicklaus won a record 18th Major title and his 6th Masters title, holding off Tom Kite and Greg Norman on the final day. 1994
US Amateur Championship - Tiger Woods claimed his 1st US Amateur Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in Florida and became the youngest ever winner at 18 years old. In the final against Trip Keuhne, he was down by 4 shots at the 8th hole but in a remarkable turnaround he ended up winning by 2 shots (9, 2007 re-broadcast on the Golf channel, 1 Disc, ESPN - Musberger/Melnyk/Rosburg, NTSC)

1997
US Masters - American Tiger Woods won his first Major tournament in stunning fashion, finishing 12 shots ahead of 2nd place Tom Kite with an 18 under par final score. The margin of victory was a tournament record (8, Final Round only, 3 Discs, CBS - Nantz/Kostis, NTSC)

1999
Ryder Cup - Highlights of the controversial tournament held at Brookline Golf Course in Massachusetts. Europe led 10-6 entering the final day and needed only 4 points to retain the trophy. But the USA, led by captain Ben Crenshaw, won the opening 7 matches and completed the dramatic win when Justin Leonard halved the 17th hole which ended any chance Europe had of taking a result out of the final pairing. Controversially, after Leonard sank his putt, the US team ran across the green and the putting line of the European player before he could play his shot, an unsportsmanlike maneuver that upset the Europeans causing an ill-tempered after-match discussion. The Europeans were led by captain Mark James and featured Sergio García, Pádraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie and José María Olazábal. The USA team featured David Duval, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Payne Stewart. US Masters - Argentinian Angel Cabrera claimed his 1st US Masters, winning on the 2nd Playoff hole against Kenny Perry (USA). Perry had led all through the final day but dropped 2 shots on the final 2 holes to go to a Playoff with Cabrera and Chad Campbell. Ryder Cup - At a rain-soaked Celtic Manor course in Wales, Europe wrestled back the Ryder Cup from the USA with a 14.5 to 13.5 nail-biting win. USA trailed 9.5 to 6.5 going into the final day but fought back to 13.5 to 13.5 with the game resting on the final pairing of Graeme McDowell and Hunter Mahan. McDowell sealed the win on the 17th hole to win his match by 2. US Masters - South African Charl Schwartzel claimed his 1st ever major title, holding his nerve on the final day to finish ahead of the pack. Schwartzel finished 2 shots ahead of Aussies Jason Day and Adam Scott with a 14 under par final score. US Masters - American Bubba Watson claimed his 1st US Masters title, holding off Louis Oosthuizen on the 2nd Playoff hole after both players ended the day tied at -10. Watson effectively won the title with an outstanding shot out of the Trees that ending up on the green, allowing him 2 shots to win the title. Ryder Cup - At the Medinah Country Club in Illinois, Europe retained the Ryder Cup with a sensational comeback on the final day. Europe needed 14 points to retain the cup but were down 10-6 entering the final day Singles matches. Europe won the first 5 matches to make it a contest, and the match came down to the last 2 pairs on the last 2 holes with the scores tied at 13-13. Martin Kaymer sank a 5 foot putt on the 18th to win his match and Francesco Molinari halved his match with Tiger Woods and Europe celebrated their 1st away win in the series since 2004, 14 1/2 to 13 1/2. US Masters - American Bubba Watson claimed his 2nd US Masters title in 3 years with a commanding win in Augusta. Ryder Cup - At the PGA Centenary Course at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, Europe retained the Ryder Cup with an easier-than-expected win against the USA. US Masters - American Jordan Speith claimed his 1st US Masters title with a record-equalling win in Augusta. US Masters - In a sensational final round at Augusta, Englishman Danny Willett claimed his 1st major title with a five-under-par 67 to beat hot favourite and reigning champion, American Jordan Speith. Speith actually led by 5 shots up to the 10th hole but dropped 6 shots in 3 holes to find himself behind Willett on the closing straight. The Englishman held his nerve and held on to the lead for the dramatic win. 2018
The Ryder Cup - At the Le Golf National Course in Paris, France, Europe upset the fancied American's and regained the Ryder Cup, winning by 17½ points to 10½. Europe recovered from an early 3-1 deficit on the 1st day to go into the 2nd day up 5-3. The expected USA reply never came and Europe finished the 2nd day up 10-6 and cruised home on the 3rd day, winning the Cup when Francesco Molinari defeated Phil Mickleson on the 16th tee. 2019
US Masters - In one of Sports remarkable comebacks, American Tiger Woods produced a strong final round to win his 5th Masters title and ended an 11-year wait since his last major title. Tiger moved to the top of the leaderboard on the 12th hole, and as the other players around him faltered, Tiger held his nerve to finish with a 2-under-par 70 to win on 13 under, one clear of fellow Americans Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka.
