Independent Womens Football League - Connecticut Crushers (0) @ (76) Pittsburgh Passion - In their final home game of the season, the Passion dominated the Crushers and held them scoreless, their third home shut-out of the season. The Offense, led by QB Lisa Horton (247 yards + 4 TD's) and RB Amanda Haig (4-132-1), gave the Passion a 48-0 lead at the half including a 34 point 1st quarter. The back-ups played most of the 2nd half. The Passion as a team passed for 290 yards and 5 TD's and rushed for 278 yards and 5 TD's. The Defense had 3 sacks, 2 turnovers and 1 TD (10, 2 Discs, FOX - Shovlin/Sanders, NTSC) 
 

United Football League - Regular Season - Florida Tuskers (34) @ (27) California Redwoods - The Tuskers completed their inaugural season in the UFL with an undefeated record but were pushed all the way by the Redwoods. California led a high scoring 1st half 24-20 at the break thanks to QB Shane Boyd (23-35-287-2) and a 49 yard interception return. But Florida picked up the pace on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half with QB Brooks Bollinger (18-29-220-1) and RB Michael Pittman (18-58-2) securing the win with 2 TD's in the 4th quarter. California also featured RB Cory Ross (19-45-0), WR Sonny Shackleford (5-110-0) and LB Maurice Crum (8 tackles). Florida also featured RB Tatum Bell (8-25-0), WR Taye Biddle (5-60-0) and LB Odell Thurman (5 tackles) (10, 2 Discs, Versus - Sims/Flutie/Marks/Stewart, NTSC)

United Football League - Championship - Florida Tuskers (17) v (20) Las Vegas Locomotives - In a big upset in Las Vegas, the hometown Locomotives beat the unbeaten Tuskers in overtime to win the inaugural UFL championship. After a tight opening 3 quarters the Tuskers led 7-3, but in the 4th quarter both teams suddenly found some Offense as Locos RB DeDe Dorsey (11-66-2) and Tuskers QB Brooks Bollinger (22-45-297-2) each scored and Bollinger set-up a game-tieing FG with 2:20 left to force overtime. The Tuskers threw an interception on their possession and the Locos kicker Grahan Gano kicked a 33 yard FG on his possession to win the game. Florida also featured RB Tatum Bell (14-44-0), WR Marcus Maxwell (5-80-1), DB Dejuan Tribble (6 tackles) and LB Tim McGarigle (6 tackles). Las Vegas also featured QB JP.Losman (21-35-193-0), WR's Adam Bergen (7-52-0) and Samie Parker (5-66-0), DB Wale Wada (7.5 tackles) and LB Teddy Lehman (5 tackles) (10, 2 Discs, Versus - Sims/Flutie/Marks/Stewart, NTSC)

German Football League - German Bowl 33 - Schwabisch Hall Unicorns (48) v (44) Kiel Baltic Hurricanes - In the highest scoring German Bowl of all time, the Unicorns capped an unbeaten season with their 1st ever German Bowl title. Both teams were unstoppable on Offense and it took a TD run with 1:49 left for the Unicorns to take the lead for good and win the game. Schwabisch were led by QB Aaron Boehme (18-28-230-3), RB Dusty Thornhill (13-99-2) and WR Justice Joslin (6-88-1). Kiel Baltic were led by QB Jeff Welsh (28-43-400-6), who had a big day, RB Michael Andrew (19-183-0) and WR Aaron Love (14-170-4). Rebroadcast missing the last 3:47 of the 1st quarter, no scoring missed, and action between 12:00 and 10:29 and 5:58 to 0:00 of the 2nd quarter. International Challenge - Obic Seagulls (29) @ (17) Dresden Monarchs - In a friendly match-up of the Japanese X-League and the German GFL, it was the visiting Japanese that took the win with a strong all-around game. The Japanese champions dominated the game with a strong passing attack led by QB Shun Sugawara (15-25-204-2) and a stifling defense led by former University of Hawaii DL Kevin Jackson (7 tackles, 3 sacks). The Seagulls led 20-3 at the half before Dresden started a mini-revival, led by former University of Maine QB Warren Smith (9-18-72-1 + 14-36-1), who was playing his 1st ever game for the Monarchs. But the Seagulls, led by their 2nd stringers, held on to take the win. Obic also featured RB Takuya Furutani (12-38-0), WR's Ryoma Hagiyama (7-76-1) and Noriaki Kinoshita (3-51-0) + LB Takahiro Saito (8 tackles). Dresden also featured former UNLV RB Larry Croom (18-96-0), LB Burkhard Vogt (8 tackles) and CB Lamar Myles (7 tackles) (10, JIP 10:19 1st quarter - No scoring missed, 1 Disc, Eurosport - Carlson, PAL)

German Football League - German Bowl 34 - Schwabisch Hall Unicorns (56) v (53) Kiel Baltic Hurricanes - In a shootout in Berlin, Schwabisch Hall successfully defended their title with a last minute win. Both teams were evenly matched but Kiel managed to get a 15 point lead early in the 4th quarter before Schwabisch Hall scored 18 unanswered points, including the game-winning 47 yard FG with 36 seconds left, to win the game. The FG was kicked by DL Thomas Rauch who also ended the game with a sack and a forced fumble. The game MVP was Schwabisch Hall's ex-University of Nebraska-Kearney QB Jake Spitzlberger (480 yards + 4 TD's). Kiel Baltic were led by QB Jeff Welsh (3 TD passes). EFAF European Championship Final - Germany (30) v (27) Austria - Germany successfully defended their title with a double-overtime win against the home-town Austrians. Germany started the better and held a 14-0 lead after the 1st Quarter but had to kick a late FG to force overtime after Austria had fought back into the game. In the 2nd overtime, Germany countered an Austrian FG with a TD of their own to win the game. Germany were led by QB Marco Ehrenfried (20-34-268-3), WR's Niklas Römer (5-77-2) and Jan Hilgenfeldt (5-124-0 + FG + all PAT's) and LB Kerim Homri (8 tackles). Austria were led by QB Christoph Gross (20-34-193-1), RB Andreas Hofbauer (24-118-1), WR Laurinho Walch (5-69-1) and LB Simon Blach (7 tackles inc. 3 TFL) (10, 2 Discs, Eurosport - Carlson, PAL)
