Grey Cup Final - Hamilton Tiger-Cats (13) v (10) Saskatchewan Roughriders - The Tiger-Cats clinched their 6th Grey Cup Championship in dramatic fashion with a last play FG in their home stadium. The Defense's ruled the 2nd half but Ealey had one last chance to win the game with 2 minutes left and he led the Tiger-Cats into FG range where rookie kicker Ian Sunter, from Dundee in Scotland, kicked the game-winner on the last play. The game was also the final game for Hamilton legend Angelo Mosca who collected the trophy (8, 2001 CBC rebroadcast - CBC covered the 1st half and CTV covered the 2nd half, 2 Discs, CBC/CTV - Chevrier/Jackson/Esaw/Shatto, NTSC)

Grey Cup - Montreal Alouettes (28) v (27) Saskatchewan Roughriders - Montreal won their 7th Grey Cup with a come-from-behind victory over the Roughriders. Saskatchewan raced out to a 17-3 lead at the half with QB Darian Durant (17-29-201-1) leading the way. But the Montreal Defense stepped up in the 2nd half and held the Roughriders to only 7 more points. Montreal's Offense also sparked to life, led by QB Anthony Calvillo (26-39-314-2) and RB Avon Cobourne (16-85-1 + 6-64-0), and they led the Alouettes to within 2 points with 1:45 remaining. A last-gasp drive gave Montreal a chance to win the game with a 43 yard FG but kicker David Duval missed.
