Group B - England (3) v (3) Morocco - In a shootout in Toulon, England had to twice fight back from a 1 goal deficit to secure a draw in their opening group game. Both teams scored freely in the 1st half and Morocco took a shock 3-2 lead in at the half. England struggled to break down the Moroccans in the 2nd half but, 2 minutes from time, they found the breakthrough and levelled the scores to secure a draw. The England goals came from Demarai Gray (Birmingham City), Duncan Watmore (Sunderland) and Chuba Akpom (Arsenal). The Moroccan goals came from Reda El Hajhouj and Achraf Bencharki (2). Group B - England (3) v (1) China - England knew that they needed to win by 2 clear goals to qualify for the 3rd place playoff and succeeded with a strong performance against the tricky Chinese. 3rd Place Playoff - USA (2) v (1) England - The USA ended the tournament with a win in the 3rd place playoff match, beating England in a close-fought match. USA scored with 2 penalties ; 1 in the 7th minute and 1 in the 65th minute, and despite pressure from the English, they held on for the win. The USA goals came from Alonzo Hernandez (C.F. Group B - England (1) v (0) Portugal - England opened their tournament with a big win over the Portuguese in Toulon. England had the better of the chances in the game and took a 1-0 lead in the 60th minute with a goal from Lewis Baker (Chelsea). Portugal offered little in the way of reply and England saw out the game for the win (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Drury/Robson, PAL)

Group B - England (7) v (1) Guinea - England made it 2 wins out of 2 in the tournament with a big win in Aubagne. Guinea took a shock lead in the 1st minute with a goal from Thierno Diallo but England responded with the next 4 goals to lead 4-1 at the break. 3 more goals in the 2nd half completed the rout. The England goals came from Jack Grealish (2) (Aston Villa), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton), Nathan Redmond (Norwich City), Cauley Woodrow (2) (Fulham) and an Own Goal (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Drury/Robson, PAL)

Group B - England (4) v (0) Paraguay - England qualified for the Final with a big win against the South Americans. England shook off a slow start to score first and take a 1-0 lead into half-time. England then poured it on the 2nd half, scoring 3 goals in 25 minutes to take the win. The goals came from Ruben Loftus-Cheek (2) (Chelsea), Lewis Baker (Chelsea) and Nathan Redmond (Norwich City) (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Drury/Davies, PAL)

Group B - England (1) v (0) Japan - England continued their unbeaten run in the competition with a comfortable win in Toulon. A 15th minute penalty, converted by Lewis Baker (Chelsea), proved enough to win the game but England also hit the bar. Japan piled on the pressure late in the 2nd half, but England coasted home to the win and a place in the Final for the 1st time since 1994 (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Drury/Dorigo, PAL)

Final - England (2) v (1) France - England won their 1st Toulon tournament since 1994 with a dominant display in Avignon. 2 goals in the 1st half did the damage and even a late goal from France wasn't enough to rescue the game for the hosts and England ran out winners. The England goals came from Lewis Baker (Chelsea) and player of the tournament Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea). Group B - France (0) v (4) Brazil - Brazil turned in an impressive performance against the tournament hosts with a dominating performance in Toulon. After a tight 1st half Brazil held a 1-0 lead, but in the 2nd half they upped the quality and took advantage of their chances with 3 more goals. The Brazil goals came from Antony (Sao Paolo), Matheus Henrique (Gremio), Matheus Cunha (RB Leipzig) and Mateus Vital (Corinthians) (9, 1 Disc, Freesports - O'Hagan, PAL)
