Quarter Final - North Korea (3) v (5) Portugal - In a wild game at Goodison Park, favoured Portugal were almost upset by North Korea but star forward Eusebio saved the day. North Korea took a 3-0 lead inside the opening 24 minutes before Eusebio keyed the comeback with 2 goals before the half. Semi-Final -
England (2) v (1) Portugal

Final -
England (4) v (2) West Germany - In England's finest sporting hour, Captain Bobby Moore led his team to the pinnacle of world football. West Germany required a last minute goal to force extra-time but 2 goals from Geoff Hurst sealed the win and the 1st World title for England.
