3rd Place Playoff - France (6) v (3) West Germany - A high scoring game ended with France claiming 3rd place and striker Just Fontaine claiming the Golden Boot for the highest scorer in the tournament. Both teams played great attacking football but West Germany couldn't cope with Fontaine. He scored 4 goals, 2 in each half, to take his total to 13 for the tournament. Final - Brazil (5) v (2) Sweden - Brazil won their first ever World Cup with a strong display against the hosts. Despite going a goal down inside 4 minutes, Brazil recovered to score the next 4 goals and take control of the match. The stars for Brazil were Vava (2 goals) and Pele (2 goals). Brazil also featured Mario Zagalla, Didi and Garrincha. Sweden featured Kurt Hamrin and Agne Simonsson (7, Black and White with no commentary, 1 Disc, PAL)
