Super Cup 2nd Leg - Hamburg (0) @ (6) Liverpool - Liverpool won their 1st ever UEFA Super Cup with a big 2nd leg win at Anfield. The hero for the Reds was Terry McDermott, who scored a hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Phil Thompson, David Fairclough and Kenny Dalglish. Liverpool also featured Emlyn Hughes and Jimmy Case. Super Cup - Barcelona (0) v (3) Sevilla - The annual pre-season friendly between the UEFA cup winners and the Champions Lague winners pitted 2 Spanish teams together. Barcelona, featuring Ronaldinho, Messi and Eto'o were favourites but Sevilla stunned Barca with an early goal and never looked back. Super Cup - Zenit St.Petersburg (2) v (1) Manchester United - The annual pre-season friendly between the UEFA cup winners and the Champions League winners was settled in the Russians favour with goals from Pogrebnyak and Danny. Super Cup - Atletico Madrid (2) v (0) Inter Milan - The annual pre-season friendly between the UEFA cup winners and the Champions League winners went the way of the Spaniards as 2 goals in the 2nd half from Jose Antonio Reyes and Sergio Aguero did the damage. Super Cup - Barcelona (2) v (0) Porto - In the annual early season showdown between the previous seasons Champions League winners and Europa League winners, Barcelona won their 4th Super Cup with a comfortable win over Porto. Goals from Lionel Messi, after a dreadfull back-pass, and Cesc Fabregas, a great volley after a Messi pass, won the game while Porto ended up with 9 men after having 2 players sent off (10, 2 Discs, ITV - Drury/Beglin, PAL)

Super Cup - Chelsea (1) v (4) Atletico Madrid - In the annual match-up of the Champions League winners and the Europa League winners, it was Atletico that came out on top with a comprehensive win in Monaco. Atletico led 3-0 at the half with all the goals coming from Falcao and a 4th goal from Miranda in the 2nd half completed the route. Super Cup - Bayern Munich (2) v (2) Chelsea - In the annual match-up of the Champions League winners and the Europa League winners, it was Bayern Munich that staged a remarkable comeback to take the win in Prague. Despite having the bulk of possession, Bayern found themselves 2-1 down in the final seconds of the game when Javi Martinez scored with the last kick of the game to force extra-time. Neither team could find the winner and the game went to penalties. Bayern out-lasted Chelsea 5-4 to take the cup. The Chelsea goals came from Fernando Torres and Eden Hazard. Super Cup - Real Madrid (2) v (0) Sevilla - In the annual match-up of the Champions League winners and the Europa League winners, it was Real Madrid that claimed their 2nd Super Cup in Cardiff, Wales. Madrid dominated the match and would have won by more but Sevilla goalkeeper Beto had a good game. Both Real Madrid goals came from Cristiano Ronaldo, 1 in each half. Super Cup - Barcelona (5) v (4) Sevilla - In the highest scoring Super Cup ever, Barcelona claimed their 5th title with an extra-time winner. Barcelona started fast and held a 3-1 lead at the half and a 4-1 lead after 52 minutes before Sevilla fought back with 3 unanswered goals to force extra-time. Both teams seemed happy to settle for a penalty shootout but Barcelona substitute Pedro popped up with the winner 4 minutes from time to take the win. The other Barcelona goals came from Lionel Messi (2), Rafinha and Luis Suarez. Super Cup - Real Madrid (3) v (2) Sevilla - Real Madrid won their 3rd UEFA Super Cup with a dramatic extra-time victory in Trondheim, Norway. Sevilla led 2-1 as the match entered injury time but Real Madrid equalised to force extra-time. With penalties looking likely, Real stunned Sevilla with the game-winner in the last minute of extra-time to win the cup. The Real Madrid goals came from Marco Anensio, Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal. The Sevilla goals came from Franco Vazquez and Yevhen Konoplyanka. Super Cup - Real Madrid (2) v (1) Manchester United - Real Madrid won their 4th UEFA Super Cup with a comfortable win in Skopje, Macedonia. Real Madrid controlled the tempo of the game with their crisp and purposeful passing and held United to only 39% possession in the 1st half. Real Madrid turned the dominance into goals and led 2-0 after 52 minutes. United did pull a goal back 10 minutes later but the Spanish side cruised home to win and retain the Cup. Super Cup - Liverpool (2) v (2) Chelsea - Liverpool won the Super Cup for the 4th time in their history by beating Chelsea 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in Istanbul. The hero for Liverpool was new goalkeeper Adrian, who was making his full debut for the Reds and he saved the penalty that saw Liverpool win the Cup. The Europa League winners Chelsea took a 1-0 lead in at the half, but Liverpool scored straight after the re-start to level up the game. Neither team could find a winner so the game went to extra-time where both teams scored again. With no more goals, the game went to penalties and Adrian saved the all-important final Chelsea kick to give the Reds the win. The Liverpool goals came from Sadio Mane (2). The Chelsea goals came from Olivier Giroud and Jorginho, a penalty. Super Cup - Chelsea (1) v (1) Villareal - At Windsor Park in Belfast, Chelsea beat Villarreal 6-5 in a penalty shootout to lift the UEFA Super Cup for a 2nd time. In a game of 2 halves, Chelsea dominated the 1st half and took a 1-0 lead in at the break. But Villareal re-grouped and equalised with 17 minutes to play. Neither side could find the game-winner in normal or extra-time so the game went to penalties where Chelsea's substitute goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, brought on in the final minute of extra-time, won the game with 2 saves. Super Cup - Manchester City (1) v (1) Sevilla - At the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, Manchester City beat Sevilla 5-4 in a penalty shootout to lift the UEFA Super Cup for the 1st time. The cup was City Manager Pep Guardiola's 4th Super Cup victory. Sevilla opened the scoring with a 1st half goal from Youssef En-Nesyri but City fought back in the 2nd half and equalised with a goal from Cole Palmer. Neither team could find a winner in 90 minutes so the game went to penalties where Sevilla missed their final penalty to give City the cup (9, 2 Discs, TNT Sports - Fletcher/McCoist, PAL)

Super Cup - Real Madrid (2) v (0) Atalanta - At the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland, Real Madrid beat Atalanta to lift the UEFA Super Cup for the 6th time. After a tight, goal-less 1st half, Real Madrid scored 2 goals in 9 minutes early in the 2nd half to take control and win the game. The goals came from Federico Valverde and Kylian Mbappe, who scored on his Real Madrid debut. Real Madrid also featured Jude Bellingham (9, 2 Discs, TNT - Fletcher/McCoist, PAL)
