World Club Championship Final - Sao Paulo (1) v (0) Liverpool - Liverpool outplayed the Brazilians but came up short, as Sao Paulo claimed their 3rd World Club Championship in Yokohama. The Reds dominated the game, and had 3 goals chalked off for Off-side, but paid the penalty for wasteful finishing when Mineiro scored the winner after 27 minutes. Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni had a great game, denying the Reds on numerous occasions. World Club Championship Final - Manchester United (1) v (0) Liga De Quito - Manchester United became the first English club to win the trophy as they dominated the South American champions and won with a 2nd half goal from Wayne Rooney. United had defender Nemanja Vidic sent off on 49 minutes with the score at 0-0 but Rooney ended the contest with a well taken goal on 73 minutes. World Club Championship Final - Barcelona (4) v (0) Santos - Barcelona added the World Club Cup to their Champions League title with an easy win over the South American champions. Barcelona led 3-0 at the half with goals from Lionel Messi, Xavi and Cesc Fabregas and completed the rout with another goal from Messi in the 2nd half. Santos were led by Neymar, who had a quiet game. Next day re-broadcast missing action in the 1st half between 4:29 and 11:39 and in the 2nd half between 64:51 and 67:41. Club World Cup Final - Liverpool (1) v (0) Flamengo - Liverpool won their first FIFA Club World Cup in Doha, Qatar with an extra-time goal against the South American champions. Both teams showed their intent to win with a combined 33 shots on goal, but the game remained scoreless at the end of 90 minutes. Final - Chelsea (2) v (1) Palmeiras - At the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Chelsea won their first ever Club World Cup with an extra-time win over the South American champions, Palmeiras. After a scoreless 1st half, both teams scored in the 2nd half to force extra-time, where Chelsea converted a penalty to take a lead that they defended to the end. With the win, Chelsea completed a full set of every available club trophy that they could win. The Chelsea goals came from Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz. Final - Manchester City (4) v (0) Fluminese - Manchester City completed their quadruple, winning their 1st Club World Cup at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Both teams were evenly matched, but City were ruthless in front of goal and scored 2 goals in each half to win the game.
