The winning goal came in the 77th minute from Robert Lewandowski but Bayern had a chance to take a share of the points when Arjen Robben was awarded a penalty in the 86th minute. German Bundesliga - Stuttgart (4) @ (4) Borussia Dortmund - Dortmund extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to 6 points with a shootout draw at home. After trailing 2-0 after 49 minutes, Stuttgart scored 3 goals in 8 minutes, making it 3-2 in the 79th minute. Dortmund re-grouped to score 2 goals in 6 minutes to re-take the lead before Stuttgart earned a draw with a goal in the 2nd minute of injury time. German Bundesliga - Bayern Munich (1) @ (1) Borussia Dortmund - In a warm-up to the Champions League Final between the 2 teams, both teams shared the spoils in a fiery affair in Dortmund. Dortmund took the lead in the 11th minute with a great goal from Kevin Grosskreutz. Bayern levelled the scores with a goal from Mario Gomez after 23 minutes. Dortmund had a chance to take the win in the 2nd half, but Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty. Bayern then had fullback Rafinha sent off and Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp and Bayern director Matthia Sammer got into a slanging match on the side-line. Dortmund couldn't make the advantage tell and the game ended a draw. Bayern rested Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez. German Bundelsiga 2 - Fortuna-Dusseldorf (2) @ (3) Ingolstadt - League-leaders Ingolstadt moved a step nearer promotion with a late winner to beat #7 Fortuna. Fortuna gave the leaders all they could handle, twice taking a 1 goal lead, but Ingolstadt fought back each time to equalise then stole the win with a winner in the 6th minute of injury time at the end of the game. German DFB Pokal Cup Semi-Final - Borussia Dortmund (1) @ (1) Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund ended Bayern Munich's dreams of a treble by beating the home side in a dramatic penalty shootout. Bayern dominated the match and held a 1-0 lead at the half with a goal from Robert Lewandowski. Dortmund shocked Bayern with an equaliser in the 75th minute through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and when neither team could find a winner in normal time or extra-time, the game went to penalties. German DFB-Pokal Cup Final - Borussia Dortmund (1) v (3) Wolfsburg - Wolfsburg claimed their 1st ever DFB-Pokal Cup with a comeback win against a favoured Dortmund team. Dortmund started fast and took the lead after 5 minutes. Wolfsburg slowly got back into the game then exploded with 3 goals in a 16 minute spell before half-time. Dortmund tried to get back into the game in the 2nd half but Wolfsburg comfortably held on for a famous win. The Wolfsburg goals came from Luiz Gustavo, Kevin De Bruyne and Bas Dost. German Bundesliga - Wolfsburg (1) @ (5) Bayern Munich - In a remarkable match at the Allianz Arena, #2 Bayern Munich overturned a 1-0 half-time deficit to #3 Wolfsburg to beat the visitors and go top of the table. The game turned on the half-time introduction of substitute Robert Lewandowski, as he scored all 5 goals in a 9 minute spell between the 51st and 60th minutes. Bayern Munich took control in the 1st half, capitalising on Leipzig's Emil Forsberg's sending off to score 3 goals from Thiago Alcantara, Xabi Alonso and Robert Lewandoski. German Bundesliga - Borussia Dortmund (3) @ (4) Bayer Leverkusen - In an entertaining game at the BayArena, Leverkusen denied Dortmnud the chance to go top of the League with a winning goal in the final 10 minutes. In a great game of attacking football, both teams went in tied at the half 2-2. Dortmund forged ahead in the 64th minute but 2 goals in the final 10 minutes gave Leverkusen a well deserved win and moved them up to 5th in the league. The Leverkusen goals came from Kevin Volland (2), Leon Bailey and Lars Bender. The Dortmund goals came from Mats Hummels, Emre Can (A great goal on debut) and Raphael Guerreiro. German Bundesliga - Borussia Dortmund (6) @ (1) Paderborn - #2 Borussia Dortmund faced off against bottom of the league Paderborn at an empty Benteler-Arena in Paderborn, and dominated the 2nd half to take the win. The stadium was empty due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but the lack of atmosphere seemed to affect the visitors more, as they struggled to a 0-0 draw at the half. But after the break, Dortmund found their scoring touch and scored 4 goals in the final 16 minutes to take all 3 points and stay in contention for the Championship. The Dortmund goals came from Jadon Sancho (3), his first professional hat-trick, Thorgan Hazard, Achraf Hakimi and Marcel Schmelzer. The Paderborn goal came from Uwe Hunemeier. Bayern dominated the 1st half and led 2-0 at the break. Leverkusen were better in the 2nd half and the teams traded goals, but Bayern were never in trouble and ran out easy winners. German Bundesliga - RB Leipzig (3) @ (3) Bayern Munich - In a shootout in the Allianz Arena, #1 Bayern Munich rescued a draw against #2 RB Leipzig to stay top of the table. A back-and-forth 1st half ended with the game tied at 2-2, and when Leipzig scored in the 2nd half, an upset seemed on the cards. But Bayern rescued the game with 15 minutes to play then saw out the game for the draw. The RB Leipzig goals came from Christopher Nkunku, Justin Kluivert and Emil Forsberg. German Bundesliga - Schalke (0) @ (4) Borussia Dortmund - In the "Ruhr Valley" derby, Dortmund coasted to an easy win against bottom-of-the-table Schalke. 2 goals in each half from Jadon Sancho Rapahel Guerreiro and Erling Braut Haaland (2) were enough to win the points for Dortmund as Schalke offered little resistance. Dortmund where missing Jadon Sancho, Raphael Guerreiro and Giovanni Reyna, but still enjoyed a perfect start to the game, scoring 2 goals in the opening 10 minutes, both scored by Erling Braut-Haaland. But Bayern fought their way back into the match and levelled the scores before half-time with 2 goals from Robert Lewandowski. The 2nd half turned in Bayern's favour when Haaland went off with an injury after 60 minutes and Bayern capitalised, scoring 2 goals in the final 2 minutes for the win. Things looked bleak for Dortmund as they were missing 2 of their best players in Erling Braut Haaland (injured) and Jude Bellingham (suspended), but they overcame the odds to win a shootout. With the win, Dortmund moved from 5th to 4th place in the league. With the loss for RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich won the title. Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland did the damage with 2 goals, the first after 5 minutes, and ended the season with 41 goals in all competitions, including 27 in the Bundesliga and 10 in the Champions League. The other Dortmund goal came from captain Marco Reus. The Leverkusen goal came from substitute Lars Bender, who was playing in his final match before retirement, who converted a penalty in the last minute of the game.
