Semi-Final, 2nd Leg - Nottingham Forest (0) @ (4) Aston Villa - In front of Prince William and a raucous crowd at Villa Park, Aston Villa booked a place in the Europa League Final with a dominating win over Forest. Villa were 1-0 down after the 1st leg, but squared the tie up with a 1st half goal. The 2nd half was all Villa, as they scored 3 unanswered goals to finish off Forest and book a place in their 1st European Final since 1982. Final - Freiburg (0) v (3) Aston Villa - Aston Villa ended their season on a high with a dominating win over Freiburg at Besiktas Park, Istanbul and won their first European Final since 1982. With Prince William in attendance, Villa went into the game fired-up, and 2 sensational goals in the 1st half from Youri Tielemans and Emi Buendia gave Villa the lead that they never relinquished. A goal early in the 2nd half from Morgan Rogers consolidated the lead and Villa coasted home to win the Cup. With the win, Villa coach Unai Emery claimed his 5th Europa League title.
