Playoff 1st Leg - Manchester United (2) @ (2) Barcelona - Both teams put themselves in a great position to win the tie with a high-scoring draw at the Nou Camp in Barcelona. The game twisted and turned with United 1-0 down then 2-1 up before Barcelona equalised with 14 minutes to play to send the tie back to Old Trafford for the 2nd Leg all tied up. Playoff 2nd Leg - Barcelona (1) @ (2) Manchester United - In front of a raucous crowd at Old Trafford, Manchester United produced a memorable second-half comeback to reach the Europa League last 16 and knock out Barcelona. It was the first time the Spaniards had been eliminated from European competition without reaching the last 16 since 1998-1999. Barcelona dominated the 1st half and held a 1-0 lead at the half. But at half-time, United Manager Erik ten Hag brought on substitute Antony, and he turned the game around, setting up 1 goal and scoring the game-winner himself. The other United goal came from Fred.
