Last 16, 2nd Leg - Arsenal (2) @  (0) AC Milan - Arsenal made history as the first English team to beat AC Milan in their home stadium. Arsenal dominated the older Italians with good attacking play and a strong defense that kept Milan midfielders Kaka and Gattuso quiet. Quarter Final, 2nd Leg - Arsenal (2) @  (4) Liverpool - In a fantastic finish, Liverpool scored 2 goals in the final 4 minutes to rescue the game and book a place in the semi-finals. Arsenal had taken the lead through Diaby but Liverpool equalised before the half through Hyypia. Liverpool then took the lead with a goal from Torres before Adebayor stunned the Kop with a potential game winning goal with 6 minutes remaining. But straight from the kick-off Arsenal conceded a penaly that Gerrard scored to but Liverpool back in the driving seat. Semi-Final, 1st Leg -
Chelsea (1) @ (1) Liverpool
- For the 3rd time in 4 years the teams met in a Champions League Semi-Final. Liverpool took a 1st half lead through Dirk Kuyt but Chelsea sensationally gained an away goal as Liverpool defender Jon Arne Riise scored an own-goal with the last kick of the game (10, No Pre-Game, 2 Discs, ITV - Tyldesley/Pleat, PAL)

Semi-Final, 2nd Leg -
Liverpool (2) @ (3) Chelsea
- A sensational game went into extra-time where Chelsea finally ended their Champions League jinx against Liverpool and advanced to their first Champions League final. Goals from Drogba (2) and Lampard were enough to off-set away goals from Torres and Babel (10, 2 Discs, SKY - Hawthorne/Tyler, PAL)

Semi-Final, 2nd Leg -
Barcelona (0) @ (1) Manchester United
- Manchester United advanced to their second Champions League final with a home win thanks to a scorching 30 yard goal from Paul Scholes. Barcelona featured Lionel Messi and substitute Thierry Henry. Manchester United were without Wayne Rooney but featured Cristiano Ronaldo (10, 2 Discs, ITV - Tyldesley/Pleat, PAL)

Final -
Manchester United (1) v (1) Chelsea
- The first all-English final was a great advert for the English game as both teams played good football. United were the stronger team in the 1st half, taking the lead on a Cristiano Ronaldo header and creating numerous other chances. But Chelsea equalised in 1st half injury time through Frank Lampard. The 2nd half was all Chelsea but they couldn't find the killer goal. Both teams went all-out for the win in extra-time with Chelsea hitting the crossbar and striker Didier Drogba sent off for slapping a United defender. The game ended up in a penalty shoot-out where United missed one kick but Chelsea missed two. The title was United's, their third, and the 2nd for Alex Ferguson (10, 4 Discs, ITV - Tyldesley/Pleat, PAL)
