Junior World Championship Semi-Final - South Africa (17) v (18) Wales - In a dramatic match in Vannes, France, Wales booked their place in the Final but needed a last minute score to do so. In a very physical game, South Africa looked to be taking the win when Wales put together 1 last attack in the final minute, with Jordan Williams breaking the line with a great run to set up a try from Ashley Evans that Sam Davies converted from out-wide that proved to be the game-winner. The other Wales try came from Captain Ellis Jenkins. Junior World Championship Final - Wales (15) v (23) England - In the 1st ever all-Northern Hemisphere Final, England used a strong 2nd half to take the title, their 1st in the competition and the 1st Northern Hemisphere team to do so. Wales dominated the 1st half, posting a 15-3 lead at the half, but England came out fired up in the 2nd half and scored 20 unanswered points to take the win. The English tries came from Jack Nowell and Sam Hill with Henry Slade scoring 13 points with the boot. England scored 7 tries in the 1st half to take a 45-0 lead in at the half. The scoring slowed in the 2nd half but England were never in trouble and coasted home to the win. The England try scorers were George Perkins, Jack Walker, Stuart Townsend (2), Aaron Morris (2), Tom Howe, Sam Skinner and Will Witty. U20 World Championships Pool A - England (30) v (16) Wales - England continued their unbeaten start to the tournament with another big showing against the Welsh. England raced out to a 22-0 lead after 30 minutes but Wales fought back to 25-10 at the half. England steadied the ship in the 2nd half with another try and, despite late pressure from the Welsh, held on for the win. U20 World Championships Pool A - England (18) v (30) France - In a big upset, France claimed to spot in the Pool with a big win over a sloppy England team. France held a 24-8 lead early in the 2nd half before England staged a comeback but, after pulling to within 6 points, France sealed the win with a late penalty and drop-goal to book their place in the Semi-Finals. The French tries came from Damian Penaud (2) and Thibault Estorge. The England tries came from James Chisholm and a penalty try (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Ward/Los'e, PAL)

U20 World Championships Semi-Final - England (28) v (20) South Africa - England booked their place in the 3rd straight U20 final with a strong win against the Boks. South Africa paid for their ill-discipline in the 1st half when they had 2 players sin-binned, as England raced out to an 18-6 lead at the half. South Africa came out fired up after the break but England held firm. 2 tries in the final 3 minutes by the Boks made for a nervy finish for England but the held on to win. The England tries came from James Chisholm, Nick Tompkins and a Penalty try. The South African tries came from Malcolm Jaer and Daniel du Plessis (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Gruffydd/Del Fava, PAL)

U20 World Championships Final - England (16) v (21) New Zealand - England's 2 year run as U20 World Champions was ended by the Baby Blacks who claimed their 1st title since 2011. After a bright start by England, the Kiwis came back into the game and led 11-10 at the half. In the 2nd half the Kiwis scored early then used great defense to hold off England and claim the win. The New Zealand tries came from Vince Tavea-Aso and Akira Ioane. The England try came from Max Clark (10, 1 Disc, BT Sport - Mullins/Kay, PAL)

Rugby Aid - England (29) v (36) Rest of the World - In a charity match at the Twickenham Stoop in aid of the "Rugby for Heroes" charity, a Pro/Celebrity Rest of the World team held off a Pro/Celebrity England team to claim the win. Despite the friendly nature of the game, there were several big hits. The Rest of the World tries came from Shane Williams (2), Thom Evans, Rory Lawson, Serge Betsen and Terry Fanolua. The England tries came from Lee Mears, Ben Cohen, Tom May (2) and Mike Tindall. The England team were led by Mike Tindall and also featured ex-pros Jason Robinson, Nick Kennedy, Andy Gomarsall, Iain Balshaw, Paul Sackey, Simon Shaw and Ben Cohen. The England celebrities included Harry Judd (Musician), Jamie Laing (TV personality), Terry Holland (England's Strongest Man), Paul Sculthorpe (Ex-Rugby League Player) and Louis Spence (Dancer). The Rest of the World team were led by Shane Williams and also featured ex-pros Justin Marshall, Brad Thorn, Shane Byrne, AJ Venter, Andre Snyman, Serge Betsen and Terry Fanolua. England started fast and scored 19 unanswered points in the opening 24 minutes before South Africa got on the board. England went in at the half with a 22-7 lead and seemed assured of a place in the final, but South Africa fought back in the 2nd half and used a dominant, forward-orientated attack to pull within 1 point. England held on in the closing stages, despite going down to 14 men, and saw out the game for the win. The England tries came from Tom Parton, Tom Hardwick, Ben White and Jordan Olowofela with Marcus Smith adding 12 points with the boot. U20 World Cup Semi-Final - New Zealand (7) v (16) France - France booked their place in a first ever World Rugby U20 Championship final in front of a packed-house in Perpignan. Fired-up by the crowd, France used a physical game-plan to keep the high-scoring Kiwi's in check, and they slowly built a lead themselves. France led 3-0 at the half but scored the next 13 points to build a 16-0 lead after 69 minutes. The game seemed won but New Zealand suddenly found their attack and scored a try to narrow the lead. The Kiwi's fumbled away their final try chance at the goal-line and France held on to take the win. The loss was New Zealand's first ever at the semi-final stage in the competition. U20 World Cup Final - England (25) v (33) France - Hosts France were crowned World Rugby U20 Championship 2018 winners, lifting the trophy for the first time following a 33-25 win over England before a partizan crowd in Béziers. Both teams were evenly matched and the game was ultimately decided by penalties. England's indiscretions cost them 16 penalties and France made them pay, with Louis Carbonel kicking 23 points to keep Les Bleuets in control of the game to the end. France also scored 2 tries, 1 in each half, from Cameron Woki and Adrien Seguret. Premiership Shield - Exeter Braves (47) @ (24) Saracens Storm - In the opening game of the competition at Allianz Park, the 2017/18 Finalists Exeter showed they were ready for another run at the Cup with a big win. A strong team featuring Alex Cuthbert, Max Bodilly, Michele Campagnaro, James Short and Sam Morley ran out to a 21-19 lead at the half then ended the game as a contest with 2 unanswered tries at the start of the 2nd half. Saracens featured Duncan Taylor, Dom Day, Titi Lamositele, Scott Spurling and Manu Vunipola but the Braves had too much firepower for them to overcome. The Exeter tries came from James McRae, Penalty try, Tom Lawday (2), Jack Innard (2) and Michele Campagnaro. The Saracens tries came from Matt Gallagher, Tadgh McElroy (2) and Tom Whiteley. Premiership Shield Final - Saracens Storm (55) @ (14) Newcastle Falcons - Saracens claimed their 2nd trophy in 3 days with a dominating win over the home side at Kingston Park. The Storm started fast and led 21-7 at the half with 3 tries scored. They started the 2nd half with another 3-try burst to put the result beyond doubt and ran in easy winners.
