6 Nations - Italy (0) @ (42) Wales - Defending champions Wales started the defense of their title with a big win at the Principality Stadium, giving new coach Wayne Pivac his 1st win in charge of the National Team. Wales dominated the 1st half and went in at the break 21-0 up. Italy attempted a fight-back early in the 2nd half, but the Welsh Defense held them out and the Welsh Offense finished the game off with 3 more tries to take the win. The Wales try scorers were Josh Adams (3), Nick Tompkins (on debut) and George North, his 40th Test try. The man-of-the-match was Wales back-rower Justin Tipuric (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Cotter/J.Davies/Cheika, PAL)
6 Nations - England (17) @ (24) France - In their opening game of the tournament, France gained a measure of revenge for the big loss to England in 2019, dominating the World Cup finalists in Paris. The French used a great Defensive gameplan to force England into 35 errors and they held them scoreless up to half-time for the first time in a 6 nations game since 1988. France also were opportunistic on Offense, taking their chances when they came, en-route to scoring 24 unanswered points to lead 24-0 with 23 minutes to play. England's Jonny May scored 2 great solo tries to pull England within 10 points but they had to settle for a losing bonus point instead, kicking a last-play penalty to make the final score 24-17. The France tries came from Vincent Rattez and captain Charles Ollivon (2), with Romain Ntamack adding 9 points with the boot. As well as Jonny May's tries England also got 7 points from the kicking of Owen Farrell (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Butler/Moore/O'Connell, PAL)
6 Nations - England (13) @ (6) Scotland - England re-claimed the Calcutta Cup with ahard-fought win over Scotland at Murrayfield. The game was played as Storm Ciara raged, with strong winds and driving rain making the conditions almost unplayable. The game turned into a game of field position, with England kicking away possession regularly. England led 3-0 at the break and only sealed the win with 10 minutes to play, as substitute Ellis Genge ran in the only try of the game. Owen Farrell kicked 2 penalties but missed 3 other kicks due to the wind. The only points for Scotland came from the boot of Adam Hastings (2 penalties) (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Cotter/Moore/Paterson, PAL)
6 Nations - Ireland (12) @ (24) England - England finally put together a complete game at Twickenham, ending Ireland's hopes of a Grand Slam. England dominated the 1st half and scored 2 tries to go in at the break with a 17-0 lead. Ireland found their attacking endeavour in the 2nd half, and scored a try just after the re-start, but England's Defense was solid the rest of the way and England comfortably saw out the game to take the win. The England tries came from George Ford, Elliot Daly and Luke Cowan-Dickie with Owen Farrell adding 9 points with the boot. The Ireland tries came from Robbie Henshaw and Andrew Porter but captain Johnny Sexton had a poor game, missing a simple penalty and conversion (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Mullins/D'Arcy/Dallaglio, PAL)
6 Nations - Wales (30) @ (33) England - England won their first Triple Crown in four years with a big win over the reigning 6 Nations champions at Twickenham. England dominated the 1st half and led 20-9 at the break but Wales fought back in the 2nd half, and when England went down to 13 men with a sin-binning and a red-card, Wales pulled to within 3 points but ran out of time to complete the comeback. The England tries came from Anthony Watson, Eliott Daly and Manu Tuilagi with Owen Farrell adding 15 points with the boot. The Wales tries came from Justin Tipuric (2) and Dan Biggar (9, 2 Discs, ITV - Mullins/Dallaglio/S.Williams, PAL)
6 Nations - France (17) @ (28) Scotland - Scotland continued their good run against France at Murrayfield, winning their 4th straight encounter and ended the visitors Grand Slam hopes. Scotland were the better team all around the park and took an early 6-0 lead. France countered with a try of their own but the game suddenly changed in Scotland's favour before the break when French prop Mohamed Haouas was sent off for throwing a punch. Scotland took advantage, scoring 22 unanswered points to demoralise the French and end their Grand Slam dreams. The Scotland tries came from Sean Maitland (2) and Stuart McInally with Adam Hastings adding 13 points with the boot. The France tries came from Damian Penaud and Charles Ollivon (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Cotter/Paterson/Moore, PAL)
6 Nations - England (34) @ (5) Italy - England claimed a bonus-point win over Italy in Rome, a result that proved enough to win the 2020 6 Nations tournament. The final tournament game for England came 7 months after their last tournament game, as the 6 Nations was postponed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. England knew they had to win the game, with a 4-try bonus point, to leave Ireland having to match their result to win the tournament, and when Ireland fell to a defeat in Paris to the French, England claimed the title, their first since 2017. Man-of-the-match was Ben Youngs, who scored 2 tries on the day he celebrated his 100th cap for England. A tight 1st half ended with England holding a slim 10-5 lead, but in the 2nd half, England piled on the pressure and coasted home by out-scoring the hosts 4 tries to 0. 6 Nations - Scotland (11) @ (6) England - On an historic day at Twickenham, Scotland got their 6 Nations campaign off to a dream start with a big win over England. It was the Scots first win over England at Twickenham in a major tournament since 1983. Scotland were the better team all over the park, kicking and running at just the right times, while the Defense kept England in check. Scotland dominated the 1st half but only led 8-6 at the break. Any thoughts of an England fight-back in the 2nd half were dashed by a great Scottish Defensive performance and they easily saw out the game for the win. The Scotland try came from Duhan van der Merwe with Finn Russell kicking 2 penalties. All the England points came from 2 penalties from Owen Farrell (9, 2 Discs, ITV - Mullins/Dallaglio/S.Hastings, PAL)
6 Nations - Italy (18) @ (41) England - England got back to winning ways at Twickenham against the Italians, overcoming an early set-back to score 6 tries and take the win. Scotland dominated the 1st half, leading 17-3 just before the break, but in the 2nd half the Welsh fought back and, when the Scots had a man sent off, a Welsh victory seemed inevitable. The game ebbed-and-flowed though, with Scotland surging ahead only for Wales to re-take the lead again, and this time they held on over the final 10 minutes to take the win and move top of the 6 Nations table. The Wales tries came from man-of-the-match Louis Rees-Zammit (2), Liam Williams and Alun Wyn Jones. The Scotland tries came from Darcy Graham and Stuart Hogg (2) (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Cotter/Paterson/Warburton, PAL)
6 Nations - England (24) @ (40) Wales - In a highly-controversial game at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales used a late surge to pull away from England and win the Triple Crown. Wales were gifted 2 tries in the 1st half due to officiating errors, when a try from a quickly-taken Welsh cross-field kick found England's players huddled under the posts, and also when a blatant Welsh knock-on was deemed to have gone backwards before being run in for a try. England recovered to tie the game at 24-24 midway through the 2nd half, but ill-discipline allowed the Welsh to pull away again and take the win. The Welsh tries came from Josh Adams, Liam Williams, Kieran Hardy and Cory Hill. The England tries came from Anthony Watson and Ben Youngs with Owen Farrell kicking 14 points (9, 2 Discs, BBC - Butler/Moore/Davies, PAL)

Ireland were always in control in the game, building on England's ill-discipline and terrible ball-handling to run out to a 23-6 lead at the half. Both teams went at it in the 1st half and came off at the break tied at 17-17, and when Wales opened up a 10 point lead in the 2nd half, the Grand Slam seemed done and dusted, especially when France had a man sent off. But 2 yellow cards for the Welsh allowed France to make a comeback and with the clock entering red at the end of the game, France scored a sensational try to win the game. The France tries came from Roman Taofifenua, Antoine Dupont, Charles Ollivon and Bryce Dulin.
