Friendly - Manly Sea Eagles (34) @ (26) Harlequins - In a warm-up to the World Club Challenge, Manly faced Harlequins in a high scoring match. In the 1st half, the Quins 1st team faced a Manly team featuring mostly their 2nd team and posted 4 tries to take a 20-0 lead at the half. In the 2nd half, Quins replaced most of their team with 2nd team players while Manly played their 1st teamers. The result was a big comeback by Manly as they ran in 6 tries to 1, using a strong defense and great running rugby. Harlequins featured Rob Purdham, Chad Randall, Luke Williamson and Matt Gafa. Friendly - Melbourne Storm (34) @ (10) Harlequins - In a warm-up to the World Club Challenge, Melbourne faced Harlequins at the Stoop. Even without Billy Slater and Cameron Smith (both rested), the Australian champions were too much for the injury-hit Quins who were missing 8 starters. Melbourne led 18-0 at the half with tries from Dane Nielsen, Anthony Quinn and Kevin Proctor and completed the scoring in the 2nd half with tries from Hep Cahill, Rory Kostjasyn and another from Nielsen. The 'Quins tries came from Ben Jones-Bishop and Will Sharp. The Storm also featured Greg Inglis, Brett Finch and Gareth Widdop (10, Referee commentary only - no crowd noise, 1 Disc, Micron, PAL)

1895 Final - Sheffield Eagles (36) v (18) Widnes Vikings - In the inaugural 1895 Cup final, Sheffield came from behind twice to beat Widnes at Wembley to win the Cup. Widnes started the better and ran in 3 tries in the 1st half to lead 18-12 at the break. Sheffield owned the 2nd half, though, and scored 24 unanswered points to pull away from the Vikings and take the win. Man-of-the-match was Sheffield's Anthony Thackeray. The Sheffield tries came from Aaron Brown (3), Anthony Thackeray, Joel Farrell and Corey Makelim.
