Premiership - Wigan (15) v (15) Warrington - A fiery game that had everything ended with both sides fielding 11 players after 4 players were sent off and an Andy Gregory drop goal 2 minutes from the end that made sure the teams shared the spoils. Premiership Semi-Final - Leeds (6) @ (74) Wigan - As Leeds were the only team to beat Wigan at home during the season, a closely fought game was expected. But Martin Offiah had other ideas as he scored a record 10 tries to demolish Leeds and book a place in the Final. Wigan also featured Shaun Edwards and Frano Botica. 2005
Regular Season -  Wigan Warriors (0) @ (70) Leeds Rhinos - At the time, the worst ever defeat for Wigan as Leeds, their bitter rivals, run in 13 tries. Leeds led 24-0 at the half, then ran in 9 tries in the 2nd half to complete the rout. The tries came from Rob Burrow (2), Chev Walker (2), Barrie McDermott (2), Mark Calderwood (2), Danny McGuire (2), Andrew Dunneman, Keith Senior and Ali Lauitiiti. Leeds Rhinos (16) @ (33) Warrington Wolves - Australian League legend Andrew Johns made his debut for the Wolves and guided them to an upset win. Johns contributed 4 conversions, 2 penalty goals + 1 drop goal and ran the show, inspiring the team to 5 tries. 2007
Regular Season - Leeds Rhinos (42) v (38) St.Helens Saints - In the inaugural "Millennium Magic" weekend, the Rhinos won in controversial fashion on the last play of the game. In the 6th minute of time added on, Leeds won a penalty that would win the game but kicker Kevin Sinfield hit the crossbar. The ball rebounded to Jordan Tansey who dove over for the winning try. Tansey was off-side at the kick but the referee still gave Leeds the try. Both teams combined for 12 tries with the main scorer Brent Webb (3) (10, 1 Disc, SKY - Hemmings/Stephenson, PAL)

National League Regular Season -
Castleford Tigers (106) @ (0) Rochdale Hornets - The Tigers dominated the bottom-of-the-table Hornets, posting the highest ever League score and scoring 19 tries. The win gave the Tigers the Minor Premiership title. The tries were scored by Awen Guttenbeil, Stuart Donlan, Ryan Clayton, Mark Leafa (2), Danny Brough (2), Andrew Henderson (3), Michael Shenton (3), Ryan Boyle, Danny Williams (3), Joe Westerman and Anthony Thackaray. The Tigers scrum-half Danny Brough top scored with 30 points (10, 1 Disc, Micron - Morgan, PAL)

Superleague Grand Final - Leeds Rhinos (18) v (10) St.Helens Saints - Leeds made Superleague history by becoming the 1st team to win 3 consecutive Grand Finals, as they beat St.Helens at Old Trafford. A tight 1st half ended 8-8 but a back-and-forth 2nd half finally went Leeds way as Lee Smith, in his final game for Leeds, scored the try 8 minutes from the end that put the game beyond the Saints. Leeds also featured Man-of-the-Match Kevin Sinfield, Brent Webb, Danny McGuire, Rob Burrow and Jamie Peacock. Championship Grand Final - Halifax (23) v (22) Featherstone Rovers - In a remarkable comeback, Halifax claimed the Championship trophy with an extra-time victory at the Halliwell Stadium. Featherstone looked in control of the game as they held a 22-4 lead in the 2nd half but Halifax scored 18 unanswered points to force extra-time before Ben Black dropped a goal to take the win. The Featherstone tries came from Matty Dale, Kyle Briggs and Zak Hardaker (2). The Halifax tries came from Luke Branighan, Ben Black, Stephen Bannister and Rob Worrincy, whose stunning length-of-the-field try opened the scoring (10, 1 Disc, SKY - Arthur/McDermott/O'Connor, PAL)

Superleague Grand Final - Wigan Warriors (22) v (10) St.Helens Saints - Wigan finally won their 2nd Superleague trophy after a 12 year wait, as they beat a St.Helens side in their 5th straight Final. Wigan showed their intent by taking a 16-0 lead in the 1st half through tries from Martin Gleeson (2) and Darrell Goulding and never looked in trouble in the 2nd half as Sam Tomkins added another try to seal the win. Wigan also featured Pat Richards, Stuart Fielden and Sean O'Laughlin. St.Helens featured Paul Wellens, Matthew Gidley, Jon Wilkin and Keiron Cunningham, in his final game before retirement (10, 1 Disc, SKY - Hemmings/Stephenson, PAL)

Superleague - Wigan Warriors (12) @ (39) Warrington Wolves - Led by the return of captain Adrian Morley after 2 months out injured, Warrington took 1 step closer to their 1st title since 1955 with a big win over the Warriors. The Wolves ran out to a 25-6 lead at the half and never looked in trouble for the rest of the game. The Warrington tries came from Michael Monaghan (2), Matt King, Lee Briers, Jon Clarke and Joel Monaghan. The Wigan tries came from Paul Deacon and Sean O'Loughlin. Superleague Playoff Semi-Final - Leeds Rhinos (26) @ (24) Warrington Wolves - In a dramatic night at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Leeds made history by becoming the 1st #5 seed to reach the Grand Final, their 4th in 5 years. Leeds were led by their inspirational captain Kevin Sinfield and he won the game with a last minute penalty kick from 35 meters out. The Leeds tries came from Ryan Hall (2), Carl Ablett and Rob Burrow. The Warrington tries came from Chris Riley (2), Joel Monaghan and Matt King. Superleague Grand Final - Leeds Rhinos (32) v (16) St.Helens Saints - On a rainy night in Manchester, Leeds made history as the 1st #5 seed to win the Superleague Grand Final. St.Helens fought back from an 8-6 deficit at the half to take a 16-8 lead in the 2nd half and had the momentum when Leeds suddenly found a different gear and scored 24 unanswered points to win their 4th title in 5 years. The Leeds tries came from Rob Burrow, Brent Webb, Ryan Hall, Carl Ablett and Zak Hardaker. The Saints tries came from Tommy Makinson and Michael Shenton. Grand Final - Warrington Wolves (18) v (26) Leeds Rhinos - #5 seed Leeds retained their Superleague title with another incredible run to the Final, beating #2 seed Warrington at Old Trafford. A tight 1st half ended all square at 14-14, but the Rhinos capitalised on Warrington turnovers to open up a winning margin and held on for the win. The man-of-the-match was Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield (1 try, 1 penalty, 4 conversions), with the other tries coming from Ben Jones-Bishop, Carl Ablett and Ryan Hall. The Warrington tries came from Richie Myler, Joal Monaghan and Ryan Atkins, with Brett Hodgson kicking 3 conversions. Superleague Grand Final - Warrington Wolves (16) v (30) Wigan Warriors - Wigan completed a league and cup double after coming back from 16-2 down to beat Warrington at Old Trafford. The Wolves started strong and took a 16-6 lead in at the half. But Wigan dominated the 2nd half, scoring 24 unanswered points to win their 3rd Superleague title. The Wigan tries came from Darrell Goulding, Michael McIlorum, Josh Charnley, Blake Green and Pat Richards. The Warrington tries came from Joel Monaghan, Simon Grix and Ben Westwood. Superleague - Wigan Warriors (18) v (14) Leeds Rhinos - At the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Wigan upset league leaders Leeds. An under-strength Wigan, missing a number of 1st-teamers through injury, started the better and held a 12-4 lead at the half that they defended to the end. The game also featured 2 big fights in the 1st half that resulted in 3 yellow cards. The Wigan tries came from Anthony Gelling, Blake Green and Michael McIllorum. The Leeds tries came from Ryan Hall (2) and Carl Ablett (9, Missing 8 seconds in the middle of the 1st half but no scoring missed, 1 Disc, SKY - Hemmings/Stephenson, PAL)

Superleague Grand Final - St Helens Saints (14) v (6) Wigan Warriors - In a physical affair at Old Trafford, St.Helens finally claimed their 1st Superleague title since 2006. From the very start, the 2 big rivals went at it, culminating in a 2nd minute sending off of Wigan's Ben Flower for punching Lance Hohaia, a red card that earned him a 6 month ban. Even with 12 men, Wigan took a 6-2 lead in at the half and held on until the 53rd minute before St.Helens went ahead, and the Saints didn't seal the win until a 69th minute try. The Saints tries came from Sia Soliola and Tommy Makinson. Wigan's try came from Joe Burgess. St.Helens' James Roby won the Harry Sunderland Trophy (9, 1 Hour h-lites, BBC - Woods/Davies/Noble, PAL)

Superleague Grand Final - Leeds Rhinos (22) v (20) Wigan Warriors - In front of a record crowd at Old Trafford (73,512), the Leeds Rhinos claimed their 7th Superleague title and the domestic treble (Challenge Cup, League Leaders Shield and Grand Final). Leeds held a 16-6 lead at the half but Wigan started the 2nd half on fire and scored 2 tries to re-take the lead. But Leeds fought back and a try and conversion gave the Rhinos the lead they defended to the end. The Leeds tries came from Danny McGuire (2), Joel Moon and Josh Walters with Kevin Sinfield kicking 3 conversions. The Wigan tries came from Joe Burgess, Dom Manfredi and Matty Bowen. Leeds players Jamie Peacock, Kylie Leuluai and Kevin Sinfield all played their last competitive game for Leeds.
