The 49ers started the better and held a 17-7 lead at the half, but the Bears re-grouped and stunned the 49ers with 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter, thanks to 2 interceptions, to take the win. The Bears were led by QB Jay Cutler (23-34-176-4), WR Brandon Marshall (5-48-3) and DB Kyle Fuller (2 interceptions). The Rams, who wore 1999 throwback jerseys to honour their 1999 Superbowl team, jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the end of the 1st quarter, but the 49ers re-grouped and scored the next 24 points to open up a 24-14 lead at the start of the 4th quarter. The Rams pulled with 7 points late on but a final game-tieing drive ended in an interception that was returned 20 yards for the game-sealing TD. The 49ers were led by QB Colin Kaepernick (22-36-343-3), RB Frank Gore (16-38-0) and WR's Anquan Boldin (7-94-1) and Michael Crabtree (3-49-1). Denver QB Peyton Manning (17-34-179-2) had a steady game while the Broncos Defense had a big game, holding the Chiefs to 151 yards of Total Offense and forcing 3 turnovers and 6 sacks.
