Pre-Season - Denver Broncos (20) @ (12) Houston Texans - The first pre-season game of the season saw the Broncos visit the Texans. Denver were show-casing their new QB, Jake Plummer, and he responded with his 1st TD pass. The Texans were showing off their top draft choice, WR Andre Johnson from Miami (8, 2 Discs, KTRK - Meyers/James/Allen, NTSC)

Regular Season -
Houston Texans (21) @ (20) Miami Dolphins
- The Texans defeated the Dolphins in the 1st ame of the season as kicker Kris Brown kicked a 35 yard FG with 25 seconds left. The Texans were led by QB David Carr (17-31-266-1) and RB Stacey Mack (27-89-1). Miami were led by QB Jay Fiedler (17-32-227-3) and RB Ricky Williams (17-69-0) (8, 2 Discs, CBS - Johnson/Jones, NTSC)

Regular Season -
Jacksonville Jaguars (20) @ (24) Houston Texans
- The Texans QB David Carr (23-36-234-1) won the game with a last play 1 yard TD run to upset the debut of Jaguars QB Byron Leftwich (17-36-231-1). Carr led the team downfield to the win in the final 2:42 and sent the Texans to 2-2. The Texans featured WR Andre Johnson and Domanick Davis. The Jaguars featured RB Fred Taylor and WR Troy Edwards (9, 2 Discs, CBS - Criqui/Tasker, NTSC)

Regular Season -
Indianapolis Colts (38) @ (35) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- On Monday Night Football, Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy returned to former employer, Tampa Bay. The Bucs showed no mercy, racing to a 35-14 lead with 4 minutes left in the game. But QB Peyton Manning (34-47-386-2) rescued the Colts with 3 TD drives to force overtime where they won on a controversial FG (9, 3 Discs, ABC - Michaels/Madden, PAL)

Oakland Raiders (10) @ (31) Denver Broncos
- On Monday Night Football, the Broncos dominated their old adversary. Denver QB Jake Plummer (14-21-197-2 + 5-48-1), in his 1st regular season home game,  had a big game (8, 2Q JIP 13:35 due to signal failure, 2 Discs, ABC - Michaels/Madden, PAL)

Kansas City Chiefs (27) @ (45) Denver Broncos
- Broncos RB Clinton Portis turned in a career day to beat a strong Chiefs team. Portis ran 22 times for 218 yards and 5 TD's (8, 2 Discs, CBS - Gumbel/Simms/Keteyian, NTSC)

22/12/03 - Green Bay Packers (41) @ (7) Oakland Raiders - On Monday Night Football, Packers QB Brett Favre paid tribute to his father who passed away days earlier with perhaps his best game ever. Favre threw for 399 yards and 4 TD's, with 311 passing yards in the 1st half alone (2 versions : 10, 2011 Re-Broadcast - No Half-Time, 2 Discs, ABC - Michaels/Madden, PAL / 8, Full game with Half-time, 2 Discs, ABC - Michaels/Madden, PAL)

Regular Season -
Jacksonville Jaguars (20) @ (19) New Orleans Saints
- The Saints needed a win to stay in contention for a playoff spot but were trailing 20-13 on the last play of the game. With 75 yards to go it needed a miracle play and QB Aaron Brooks provided it. After a multi-lateral pass, WR Jerome Pathon dived into the end-zone with no time on the clock. But the Saints missed the point after and the Jaguars celebrated the win (9, 3 Discs, FOX - Menefree/Dunlap/Green, NTSC)

Regular Season -
Minnesota Vikings (17) @ (18) Arizona Cardinals
- The Vikings only needed to win to claim the NFC Central title and reach the playoffs. But a last play 28 yard TD pass from QB Josh McCown to WR Nate Poole knocked them out of the playoffs (9, 1 Disc, FOX - Meyers/Romanowski, NTSC)

Pro Bowl -
AFC (52) v (55) NFC - In the highest scoring Pro Bowl ever, the game was settled by a last play missed FG. NFC QB Marc Bulger (12-21-152-4) and AFC QB Peyton Manning (22-41-342-3) had big days. Both teams came up with the big plays including a 90 yard TD pass on the 1st play of the game, a 23 yard blocked punt return TD, a 50 yard TD pass and a 32 yard interception return TD (8, 2 Discs, ESPN - Patrick/Theismann/Maguire, PAL)
