The East were led by Scottie Pippen (17 points) and also featured Arne Duncan (US senator), Chris Mullin (NBA Hall of Famer), Mitch Richmond (ex-NBAer), Michael Rapaport (actor), Common (Rapper) and Nick Cannon (actor). All Star Weekend - NBA Rookies (148) v (140) NBA Sophomores - The Rookies continued their win streak against the Sophomores with a big win at the Staples Center. The Rookies were led by MVP John Wall (12 points, 22 assists), Blake Griffin (14 points) and DeMarcus Cousins (33 points, 14 rebounds), with Wall setting a new game record for assists as both teams combined for the usual array of dunks and slams. Regular Season - Los Angeles Lakers (88) @ (94) Miami Heat - Miami ended a team record 5 game losing streak with a big win over the Lakers, ending their 9 game win streak. Both teams traded blows until the final 2 minutes, where Miami Guard Dwayne Wade (20 points, 5 assists) took over to give the Heat the edge and the win. Miami also featured Chris Bosh (24 points, 9 rebounds) and LeBron James (19 points, 9 assists). The Lakers were led by Kobe Bryant (24 points), Pau Gasol (20 points) and Andrew Bynum (13 points, 12 rebounds). Western Conference 1st Round, Game 5 - Denver Nuggets (97) @ (100) Oklahoma City Thunder - The Thunder won their 1st Playoff series in Franchise history thanks to a big game from their star player. Kevin Durant (41 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists) matched his playoff high for points scored as the Thunder overcame a 9 point deficit in the final 4 minutes to end the season for the Nuggets. Oklahoma City also featured Russell Westbrook (14 points) and Kendrick Perkins (11 points, 9 rebounds). Eastern Conference Semi-Final, Game 3 - Chicago Bulls (99) @ (82) Atlanta Hawks - The Bulls took a 2-1 series lead with a big game from their star player, as Derrick Rose stunned the Hawks with a career high 44 points. 3 days after being awarded the MVP award, Rose turned on the style, leading the Bulls to a 56-43 lead at the half. The Hawks never threatened and the Bulls coasted home. The Bulls also featured Joakim Noah (2 points, 15 rebounds), Luol Deng (7 points, 6 rebounds) and Taj Gibson (13 points, 11 rebounds). Eastern Conference Semi-Final, Game 5 - Boston Celtics (87) @ (97) Miami Heat - The Heat ended the series with an emphatic win at home, with the Miami stars playing a big part. Led by LeBron James (33 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists), Dwayne Wade (34 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists) and Chris Bosh (14 points, 11 rebounds) the Heat took a 49-47 lead in at the half then used a 16-0 run over the final 4:15 to take the win and advance to the Eastern Conference Final. Western Conference Final - Game 1 - Oklahoma City Thunder (112) @ (121) Dallas Mavericks - In a shootout in Dallas, the Mavs took a 1-0 series lead with a huge game from their star player. Dirk Nowitzki (48 points, 6 rebounds) was on fire, with his 2nd best point output in the post-season + setting an NBA post-season record hitting on 24-of-24 free-throws. He was ably supported by Jason Terry (24 points), Shawn Marion (11 points) and Jason Kidd (3 points, 11 assists). Finals Game 1 - Dallas Mavericks (84) @ (92) Miami Heat - Miami opened their quest for an NBA title with a big win in game 1. Despite shooting only 39 percent, the Heat used great defense to keep the Mavs to only 37 percent shooting and held star player Dirk Nowitzki (27 points, 8 rebounds) in check. Finals Game 2 - Dallas Mavericks (95) @ (93) Miami Heat - Dallas used an NBA playoff record comeback to stun the hometown Heat and even the series. The Mavs were down 15 points with 7 minutes to play when a Dirk Nowitzki-inspired comeback saw the Mavs go an a 22-5 run culminating in a Nowitzki layup with 3 seconds left to take the win. Dirk (24 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists) had a huge game, helped by Shawn Marion (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Tyson Chandler (13 points, 7 rebounds) while Miami's star players also had big numbers. Finals Game 3 - Miami Heat (88) @ (86) Dallas Mavericks - The Heat re-stablished their series lead with a tight win in Dallas, thanks to their leader Dwayne Wade. Wade (29 points, 11 rebounds) had a huge game, scoring 7 of Miami's 9 final points, and played great defense to deny Dallas a chance at a game-tying shot in the final seconds. Wade also had help from Chris Bosh (18 points) and LeBron James (17 points, 9 rebounds) + a big game off the bench from Mario Chalmers (12 points). Finals Game 4 - Miami Heat (83) @ (86) Dallas Mavericks - In sensational fashion, Dallas tied the series thanks to a huge game from an ailing Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk played despite suffering from the flu, with his temperature reaching 101 degrees, yet he still managed to score 21 points and grab 11 rebounds. Unlike Game 3, Dirk got plenty of help from his teammates as Shawn Marion (16 points), Tyson Chandler (13 points, 16 rebounds) and Jason Terry (17 points) all came up big. Finals Game 5 - Miami Heat (103) @ (112) Dallas Mavericks - Dallas took a decisive lead in the series with a shock away win in Miami. Led by Dirk Nowitzki (29 points, 6 rebounds) the Mavericks overcame a brief Heat surge in the 4th quarter to out-score Miami 17-4 over the final 4 minutes to take the win. Miami were led by a triple-double from LeBron James (17 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) but Dwayne Wade (23 points, 8 assists) had an off-night after suffering a hip injury early in the game. Finals Game 6 - Dallas Mavericks (105) @ (95) Miami Heat - Dallas finally won their 1st ever NBA Championship with a dominating win over Miami. Led by series MVP Dirk Nowitzki (21 points, 11 rebounds), the Mavericks led 53-51 at the half and despite briefly trailing for 18 seconds in the 3rd quarter, powered on in the 2nd half to keep the Heat at bay and take the win. Dallas also featured Jason Terry (27 points), JJ. Barea (15 points) and Shawn Marion (12 points, 8 rebounds). Miami were led by LeBron James (21 points) and also featured Dwayne Wade (17 points), Chris Bosh (19 points, 8 rebounds) and Mario Chalmers (18 points). All Star Weekend - Team Chuck (145) v (133) Team Shaq - In teams comrising of NBA Rookies and Sophomores, it was Team Chuck (coached by Charles Barkley) that won out over Team Shaq, coached by Shaquille O'Neal. The MVP went to Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers) who top scored with 34 points including 8 three-pointers. Team Chuck also featured Paul George (Pacers, 23 points), DeMarcus Cousins (Kings, 18 points, 11 rebounds) and Evan Turner (76ers, 16 points, 11 rebounds). Team Shaq were led by Blake Griffin (Clippers, 10 points), Greg Monroe (Pistons, 19 points, 10 rebounds), Ricky Rubio (Timberwolves, 12 points, 7 assists) and Jeremy Lin (Knicks, 2 points) (10, 2 Discs, TNT - Harlan/Smith/Sager, PAL)

All Star Weekend - 
West (152) v (149) East - In the 1st All Star game to be played in Orlando for 20 years, it was the West that used a big defensive play to stop the surging East team from winning the game. Led by MVP Kevin Durant (Thunder - 36 points) and Kobe Bryant (Lakers - 27 points), the West took a 21 point lead into the 2nd half before the East, led by LeBron James (Heat - 36 points) and Dwayne Wade (heat - 24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) staged a comeback. With the West holding a 1 point lead in the final seconds, Blake Griffin (Clippers - 22 points) forced a turnover for the West that halted the charge and the West held on for the win. With his 27 points, Kobe became the all time points scoring leader in the All Star game (271 points), overtaking Michael Jordan. The West also featured Chris Paul (Clippers - 12 assists) and Russell Westbrook (Thunder - 21 points). The East also featured Carmelo Anthony (Knicks - 19 points) and Derrick rose (Bulls - 14 points). Western Conference Final Game 6 - San Antonio Spurs (99) @ (107) Oklahoma Thunder - The Thunder booked their place in their 1st NBA Finals with a big win over the Spurs. Led by star forward Kevin Durant (34 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists), the Thunder overturned a 15 point deficit at the half to clinch the win. Durant was supported by Russell Westbrook (25 points, 5 assists) and James Harden (16 points). San Antonio were led by Tony Parker (29 points, 12 assists), Tim Duncan (25 points, 14 rebounds) and Stephen Jackson (23 points). Eastern Conference Final Game 6 - Miami Heat (98) @ (79) Boston Celtics - With the Heat facing elimination, LeBron James stepped up to take the Eastern Conference Finals to a deciding Game 7. Wearing their Red home jerseys the Heat dominated the game, led by James (45 points, 15 rebounds), as he scored 30 points in the 1st half to give Miami a 60-42 lead at the break. Miami kept the Celtics at arms length in the 2nd half to take the win. James was supported by Dwayne Wade (17 points, 8 rebounds). Eastern Conference Final Game 7 - Boston Celtics (88) @ (101) Miami Heat - The Heat booked a place in their 2nd consecutive Finals with a big win against the Celtics to claim the Eastern Conference Title. Boston started fast and led 53-46 at the half before Miami started a comeback, punctuated by a big 4th quarter where they outscored the Celtics 28-15, with all the points scored by their big 3 : LeBron James (31 points, 12 rebounds), Dwayne Wade (23 points, 6 assists) and Chris Bosh (19 points including 3 three-pointers). Finals Game 1 - Miami Heat (94) @ (105) Oklahoma City Thunder - In their 1st ever Finals appearance, the Thunder delivered a win for their home fans to take a 1-0 series lead. Led by Kevin Durant (36 points, 8 rebounds) & Russell Westbrook (27 points, 11 assists), the Thunder overcame a 54-47 half-time deficit to win the game. Durant and Westbrook on their own out-scored the entire Miami team in the 2nd half. Finals Game 2 - Miami Heat (100) @ (96) Oklahoma City Thunder - Miami evened the series with a controversial finish in Oklahoma City. In a game they trailed throughout, the Thunder cameback from a 17 point deficit in the 1st half and looked to tie the game with 9 seconds left. But as Kevin Durant (32 points) shot the ball he was bumped by LeBron James (32 points, 8 rebounds) and missed. The foul wasn't called and James finished by shooting 2 late free-throws to ice the game. Miami also featured Dwayne Wade (24 points5 assists) and Chris Bosh (16 points, 15 rebounds). Finals Game 3 - Oklahoma City Thunder (85) @ (91) Miami Heat - Miami took advantage of foul trouble on Kevin Durant to wipe out a 10 point Thunder lead in the 3rd quarter, then cruised home to a series-leading win. The Thunder, led by Durant (25 points) and Russell Westbrook (19 points), played the Heat even in the 1st half and started to pull away in the 3rd quarter before Durant picked up his 4th foul and had to come out of the game. Miami then took control of the game outscored the Thunder the rest of the way, led by LeBron James (29 points, 14 rebounds), Dwayne Wade (25 points) and Chris Bosh (10 points, 11 rebounds). Finals Game 4 - Oklahoma City Thunder (98) @ (104) Miami Heat - Miami moved to within 1 game of their 2nd NBA title with a tough win against the Thunder. The hero was an ailing LeBron James (26 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists) who overcame leg cramps after a hard fall to drain a 3-pointer with 2:51 left that effectively ended the game. James needed a big night as Thunder Guard Russell Westbrook (43 points, 5 assists) had a huge game. The Heat also featured Dwayne Wade (25 points), Mario Chalmers (25 points) and Chris Bosh (13 points, 9 rebounds). Finals Game 5 - Oklahoma City Thunder (106) @ (121) Miami Heat - Miami clinched their 2nd NBA title with a blow-out win at home. Led by Finals MVP LeBron James (26 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists), the Heat raced out to a 59-49 lead at the half and never let up in the 2nd half to claim the win. James was supported by Chris Bosh (24 points, 7 rebounds), Dwayne Wade (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Mike Miller (23 points, 5 rebounds). Oklahoma City were led by Kevin Durant (32 points, 11 rebounds) but the team were let down by 7 turnovers in the 1st half that allowed the Heat to take the initiative. Regular Season - Chicago Bulls (100) @ (99) Boston Celtics - In a boisterous TD Garden, Chicago took the win with a sensational late basket to clinch their 3rd straight win, and their 14th straight Friday road game win. Both teams were evenly matched, with the Bulls needing a Kirk Hinrich (8 points, 5 assists) jumper with 2 seconds left in the game to force overtime. Boston again jumped out to a lead in OT before the Bulls won the game with a sensational off-balance fadeaway from Marco Belinelli with 3.1 seconds left. The Bulls also featured Joakim Noah (14 points, 13 rebounds), Carlos Boozer (19 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists) and Richard Hamilton (20 points). The Celtics featured Rajon Rondo (30 points, 7 assists), Kevin Garnett (16 points, 7 rebounds), Jared Sullinger (7 points, 15 rebounds) and Paul Pierce (13 points) (10, 1 Disc, ESPN - Breen/Van Gundy, PAL)

Regular Season - Boston Celtics (99) @ (113) Los Angeles Lakers - 2 days after the death of owner Jerry Buss, the Lakers paid tribute with a big win over their big rivals. The Lakers turned a tight 64-55 lead at the half into a comfortable 90-76 lead at the end of 3 quarters and coasted home. The stars for Los Angeles were Dwight Howard (24 points, 12 rebounds), Kobe Bryant (16 points, 7 assists) and Earl Clark (14 points, 16 rebounds). Chicago were missing Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Marco Belinelli and Richard Hamilton but got great games from Luol Deng (28 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists), Carlos Boozer (21 points, 17 rebounds) and Kirk Hinrich (7 points, 6 assists) and used strong, physical Defense to keep the Heat from taking hold of the game. The Bulls led 55-46 at the half and never relinquished their lead the rest of the way. The Heat were led by LeBron James (32 points), Dwayne Wade (18 points) and Chris Bosh (21 points, 4 rebounds). The Nuggets dominated from the off and took a 59-42 lead in at the half. The Heat closed to within 9 points late in the game but the Nuggets held on for the win. The Nuggets were led by Serbian Nikola Jokic who recorded a triple-double (27 points on 67% shooting, 14 assists and 10 rebounds) and also featured Jamal Murray (26 points, 10 assists) and Michael Porter Jr. (14 points, 13 rebounds). Regular Season - Golden State Warriors (123) @ (116) Los Angeles Lakers - The Warriors gave themselves a big lift in the race for the post-season with a high-scoring win at the Crypto.com Arena. After a slow start, Golden State finally hit the front for good in the 2nd quarter and despite a late rally from the Lakers in the 4th quarter, when they pulled to within 5 points, the Warriors held on for the big win. Golden State featured Stephen Curry (37 points, 6 assists), Brandin Podziemski (28 points, 8-of-10 3-pointers) and Draymond Green (8 points, 11 rebounds). The Lakers featured LeBron James (33 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds), Austin Reaves (31 points, 9-of-16 3-pointers) and Luka Doncic (19 points, 7 assists, 8 rebounds), who had an off-night (9, 2 Discs, TNT - Harlan/Miller, PAL)
