Indiana Div-3A Final - Zionsville Eagles (24) v (27) Heritage Hills Patriots - Heritage Hills claimed its first ever state title with an overtime victory over Zionsville. The Patriots owned the 1st half, leading 21-7 at the break. The Eagles fought back in the 2nd half to tie the game 21-21 in the 4th quarter and had a chance to win but missed a FG with 1 second left that forced extra-time. The Patriots finally settled the game in the 1st overtime when QB Jay Cutler (9-16-102-0 + 19 tackles) caught a 12 yard TD pass from WR Cole Seifrig (2-60-1 rushing + 3-31-0 receiving + 1 interception) on a trick play. The Eagles out-gained the Patriots on Offense (424 yards to 271 yards), led by QB Corey Richmond (8-14-108-0) and RB Ryan Wagner (39-215-3) but were let down by a poor kicking game and a poor 1st half performance. The Patriots also featured LB Adam Kress (15 tackles). The Eagles were led on Defense by LB Bill Slama (2 tackles, 2 interceptions) (9, 2 Discs, LESEA - Baker/Nagle/Denari, NTSC)
