Regular Season - Iolani Red Raiders (25) @ (27) Punahou Buffanblu - In a battle between cross-town rivals, Punahou staged a huge 4th quarter comeback to beat Iolani. The Red Raiders ran out to a 25-6 at the start of the 4th quarter before the Buffanblu rallied with 21 unanswered points, including the game-winning 16 yard TD pass with 10 seconds left in the game. Punahou were led by QB Duane Akina and RB's Wendell Westlake and Mosi Tatupu. Hawaii Div-1 Quarter Final - St.Louis Crusaders (53) v (21) Waianae Seariders - Hawaii-bound QB Timmy Chang (24-34-277-8) was awesome in leading the Crusaders into the semi-final with a record 8 TD passes (8, 1 Disc, Stadium Sports - Naeole/Kameara, NTSC)


2008
Hawaii Div-1 Semi-Final - Farrington Governors (28) v (35) Punahou Buffanblu - Punahou reached their first ever title game in a shootout. Both teams traded scores throughout the game and it wasn't settled until Punahou returned an interception 74 yards for the clinching TD as Farrington were driving for the tieing score. Even then the scoring wasn't finished as Farrington returned the ensuing kick-off 97 yards for a TD on the games final play. Punahou were led by QB Cayman Shutter (34-55-412-3), RB Dalton Hilliard (9-37-1 + 13-139-1) and LB Mantai Te'o (6.5 tackles) . Farrington were led by QB Dayton Kealoha (235 yards + 2 TD's) (10, 1 Disc, OC16 - Leahey/Price, NTSC)

Hawaii Div-1 Final -
Leilehua Mules (7) v (38) Punahou Buffanblu - Punahou claimed their 1st ever state title with a dominating win over Leilehua. The Buffanblu dominated on Defense, holding the Mules to 210 yards of total offense, as they forced 6 turnovers. The leaders were Mina Gould (10 tackles) and Manti Te'o (eight tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss, and a forced fumble). The offense was also on fire, as QB Cayman Shutter (24-41-400-2) and RB Dalton Hilliard (17-98-1) both had big games (10, 2 Discs, OC16 - Leahey/Price, NTSC)
