Colorado Div-5A Playoff - 2nd Round - Cherry Creek Bruins (21) @ (49) Mullen Mustangs - Mullen dominated the Bruins of Cherry Creek, scoring on a 98 yard opening kick-off return TD and posting a 28-0 1st half lead before cruising home. Mullen QB Clint Brewster (8-18-188-3) had a solid game but the star for the Mustangs was RB Phil Morelli (25-249-3). Cherry Creek was led by Junior QB Jack Elway (14-36-284-2) whose 2 TD passes covered 49 and 80 yards. Cherry Creek also scored on a 72 yard interception return (10, 2 Discs, FOX - Bleyer/Williams, NTSC)

Colorado Div-5A Playoff - 1st Round - Legacy Lightning (6) @ (52) Valor Christian Eagles - #4 ranked Valor Christian booked their place in the 2nd round of the Playoffs with an easy home win over Legacy. The Eagles started fast on both sides of the ball, forcing 3 turnovers on the Lightning's 1st 3 drives and cashing them all in for 3 TD's of their own. The Eagles led 42-0 in the 2nd quarter and coasted home the rest of the way. Valor Christian featured QB Luke Del Rio (8-12-181-4) and RB Christian McCaffrey (81 yards rushing, 44 yards receiving + 4 TD's overall). Colorado Div-5A Final - Valor Christian (9) v (0) Cherokee Trail Cougars - In a low-scoring final at Sports Authority Field in Denver, the Eagles claimed their 1st ever 5A title after a dog-fight with unfancied Cherokee Trail. The Cougars played inspired Defensive football to keep the high-scoring Eagles in check and it wasn't until the 4th quarter that the Eagles managed to break through and score the winning points. The game MVP was Valor Christian RB Christian McCaffrey (114 yards rushing + 1 TD, 52 yards receiving) who also punted in the game and played Defensive Back. Colorado Div-5A Final - Cherry Creek Bruins (25) v (24) Valor Christian Eagles - In a big upset, Cherry Creek ended Valor Christian's 5 year unbeaten streak in the playoffs and claimed their 9th State Title. Both teams combined for 29 points in the 4th quarter as the game ebbed-and-flowed, but it was the Bruins that had the final say, scoring the winning TD and 2XP with 5:09 left. The Bruins then used great Defense to stop the Eagles making a comeback and ran out the clock for the win. The Bruins featured QB Joe Caplis (1 TD run) and MVP RB Milo Hall (28-214-2). Valor Christian featured QB Dylan McCaffrey (1 TD pass), RB Danny Rambo (1 TD run + 89 yard kick-off return TD) and WR/DB Eric Lee Jr (9, Downloaded from the internet, 1 Disc, Altitude Sports - Romero/Olson/Slack, PAL)

2015
Colorado Div-5A Final - Pomona Panthers (26) v (29) Valor Christian Eagles - Valor Christian avenged their early-season loss to Pomona with a come-back win at Sports Authority Field, and claimed their 6th state title. Pomona used great Defense (2 sacks) and an opportunistic Offense (A Half-back TD pass) to get the better of the Eagles in the 1st half and led 16-7 at the break. They extended their lead to 26-14 with 8:55 left in the game before Valor Christian stunned the Panthers by scoring 15 unanswered points to take the lead with under 2 minutes to play. The Eagles then stopped the Panthers on 4th-down to dramatically win the game. The Eagles were led by QB Dylan McCaffrey (20-27-202-1 + 15-59-1, RB Joshua Davis (14-77-2 + 3-46-0) and WR Ben Waters (1 TD catch). Pomona featured QB Ryan Marquez (1 TD pass) and RB's Max Borghi (1 TD run, 1 TD pass) and Cameron Gonzales (8, 1 Disc, Downloaded from the Internet, Altitude - Romero/Olson/Slack, NTSC)

2016
Interstate Regular Season - Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (17) @ (21) Valor Christian Eagles - In an interstate battle, it was the home-town Eagles from Colorado that prevailed, rallying in the 2nd half to win. Valor Christian ran out to a 14-9 lead at the half but GAC re-took the lead in the 3rd quarter. The Eagles rallied again in the 4th quarter, re-took the lead and used great Defense to close out the game. The stars for Valor Christian were their 3 QB's ; Dylan McCaffrey, Blake Stenstrom and Luke McCaffrey, RB Joshia Davis, LB's Michael O’Donnell (6 tackles) and Bubba Thibault (5 tackles) and DB Noah Kuzma (9 tackles). 2017
Interstate Regular Season - Mullen Mustangs (28) @ (31) Bothell Cougars - #9 ranked Bothell of Washington lived up to their billing with a come-back win against Mullen of Colorado. The Mustangs started fast, taking an early 14-0 lead. But the Cougars found their rhythm and rattled of 28 unanswered points to lead 28-14 in the 3rd quarter. Mullen fought back to tie the game 28-28 in the 4th quarter, but Bothell re-took the lead with 6 minutes left and used a great last minute Defensive stand to take the win. Bothell featured QB Jacob Sirmon (24-39-395-3 + 1 TD run) and WR/DB Da’Vicious Wilson (12-167-1 + 3 Interceptions), who had a big game. Mullen featured QB Dominic Depizzol (1 TD pass), RB Alonzo Moon (40-197-3), WR A’Jon Vivens (1 TD catch) and LB Adrian Jackson (10, Downloaded from the internet, 1 Disc, ESPN - Roth/Golic Jr, NTSC)
