Indiana Final - Muncie Central Bearcats (76) v (53) Concord Minutemen - For the 1st time in Indiana State Finals history, the top 2 teams in the State faced off in the Final. The #2 ranked Minutemen only trailed 28-27 at the half, but the #1 ranked Bearcats outscored Concord 18-8 in the 3rd quarter to pull away then defended their lead to the end to claim the title. Muncie Central featured Sam Long (29 points, 15 rebounds), Chandler Thompson (21 points, 13 rebounds) and Bill Vance (13 points). McDonalds All American Game - East (105) v (99) West - In arguably the greatest McDonalds All American Game, the East took the win in a shootout in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The East led at the half 53-43 and kept their noses in front the rest of the way to take the title. The game was dominated by the big men, with the East team featuring Alonzo Mourning (16 pts), Billy Owens (14 pts) and Christian Laettner. Mourning and Owens shared the MVP award. The West featured Shawn Kemp (18 pts, 9 rebs), Stanley Roberts, LaPhonso Ellis and Chris Jackson. Regular Season - Montrose Christian Mustangs (74) v (72) Oak Hill Aacademy Warriors - In one of the biggest upsets of the season, Montrose Christian upset #1 ranked Oak Hill, who were a perfect 40-0. Montrose were down 16 points in the second half before starting a late run that ended when a last second shot by Kevin Durant rimmed-out and was put back by Adrian Bowie (20 points) as time expired. California CIF SS 1-AA Championship - Riverside King (71) v (56) Mater Dei Monarchs - Riverside upset the #1 team in the country in Mater Dei and gave them their 1st loss of the season. Mater Dei were 30-0 coming into the game but Riverside's Kawhi Leonard (11 points, 20 rebounds, 6 blocks, 3 steals) dominated the Monarchs on both ends of the court. Mater Dei's heralded team of David Wear (15 points), Gary Franklin (13 points), Tyler Lamb (12 points) and Travis Wear (10 points) all had quiet games and couldn't get going (10, 1 Disc, Prime - Sunderland/Fulham, NTSC)

Regular Season - Half Hollow Hills West Colts (75) v (72) Bishop Loughlin Lions - In a big New York City match-up, the Colts scored a huge upset over the Lions with an Overtime win in the Big Apple Classic. The 2 stars of the show were the Colts Tobias Harris (19 points, 10 rebounds) and the Lions Jayvaughn Pinkston (34 points, 16 rebounds) but Harris fouled out late in the game and guard Tavon Sledge (21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists) picked up the slack to see out the win. Regular Season - Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (64) @ (78) Montverde Academy Eagles - #1 Montverde consolidated their position as the nations top team with a big win over #12 ranked Bishop O'Dowd. Montverde were led by a big game from Ben Simmons (22 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) while Bishop O'Dowd were led by their star, center Ivan Rabb (22 points). National Semi-Final - Montverde Academy Eagles (57) v (53) Findlay Prep Pilots - #2 ranked Montverde booked a place in their 3rd straight National Final with an overtime win in New York. The Pilots out-played the Eagles throughout the game but Montverde forced Overtime on a last second basket and once in Overtime, the Eagles out-lasted the Pilots to win the game. The Eagles were led by Ben Simmons (24 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals) and Noah Dickerson (10 points, 8 rebounds). National Final - Montverde Academy Eagles (70) v (61) Oak Hill Academy Warriors - For the 2nd time in 3 years, Montverde finished ranked #1 in the nation as they upset #2 Oak Hill in Madison Square Garden. The Eagles overturned a 9 point deficit in the 1st half to take control in the 2nd half and run out winners. The Eagles were led by Ben Simmons (20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists) in his final High School game, and also featured Fard Muhammad (20 points) and Noah Dickerson (14 points). MaxPreps Holiday Classic - Chino Hills Huskies (125) v (99) Rufus King Generals - The #1 team in the country, Chino Hills of California, eased into the next round of the tournament with a big win over the Generals from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After a slow start, the Huskies took control and never looked in trouble in the game. They held a 67-42 lead at the half and a 104-72 lead after 3 quarters.
