Mens Triathlon - Alistair Brownlee of England completed his set of Gold Medals with a win in Glasgow. Alistair was in the leading pack the whole race and pulled away from his brother Jonny during the running section to claim Gold. Mixed Team Relay Triathlon - In the inaugural running of the race at the Commonwealth games, the England team of Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, Jodie Stimpson and Vicky Holland took an expected Gold with a big win. The quartet each completed the 400m swim, 6km cycle, and 1.6km run course in a total time of 1 hour 13 minutes and 24 seconds. South Africa took silver, 49 seconds back, with Australia third (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Chilton/Emmerson/Trew, PAL)

Netball Group B - England (48) v (49) Australia - The big match-up in Group B didn't disappoint as the Australians took a tight win. England led by as many as 6 goals but Australia fought back to trail by only 1 goal at the half, 27-26. A nip-and-tuck 2nd half saw both teams evenly matched and after England had missed a potentially game-winning shot with 20 seconds left, Australia went straight up-court to hit the game-winner themselves with 8 seconds left (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Woods/Navin, PAL)

Netball Semi-Final - England (34) v (35) New Zealand - New Zealand booked their place in the Gold Medal game with a last-gasp win over England. England started the better and held an early 5 goal lead, but the Kiwis fought back to take a 20-19 lead in at the half. The 2nd half was evenly matched but England had a chance to win as they had the ball in the final seconds with the scores tied at 34-34. But England turned the ball over and with the last shot of the match, the Kiwis scored to take the win (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Brougham/Navin, PAL)

Womens 400 Metres IM Swimming Final - Scotland's Hannah Miley retained her Commonwealth Gold medal with a record-setting swim in Glasgow. Miley trailed for 350 metres but stormed through in the final 50 metres to win in a Games-record time of 4 minutes 31.76 seconds. Mens 200 Metre Breaststroke Swimming Final - Scotland's Ross Murdoch stunned the crowd with a record-setting win in Glasgow. Scotlands's Olympic silver medalist Michael Jameison was favourite to win the race but Murdoch had the best race of his career to set a British and Commonwealth record time of 2 minutes 8.4 seconds that earned him the Gold. Womens Gymnastics : Individual Ribbon Final - Francesca Jones claimed Wales 1st Gold Medal of the Games with her final routine before retirement. Womens Gymnastics : Individual Floor Final - England's Claudia Fragapane became the first Englishwoman to win four Golds at a single Commonwealth Games in 84 years with a win in the Individual Floor Final. Mens Diving 10 Metre Platform Final - England's Tom Daley retained his Gold Medal with a dominating performance. Womens 100 Metre Hurdles Final - Australian Sally Pearson added to her Olympic Gold with a big win over England's Tiffany Porter. Pearson led from the start and won in a time of 12.67 seconds (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cotter, PAL)

Womens 800 Metres Final - In an emotional race at Hampden Park, Kenyan Eunice Jepkoech Sum claimed Gold, just ahead of Scot Lynsey Sharp in Silver. Sharp had battled an injury plagued season and a pre-race sickness to reach the final but overcame adversity with a stunning final 100 metres to take 2nd place. Womens 1500 Metres Final - In a tight, tactical race it was Kenyan Faith Kipyegon who came through to win Gold, with England's Laura Weightman claiming Silver (in a personal best time) and Canada's Kate van Buskirk taking Bronze. Includes the medal ceremony (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cram/Foster, PAL)

Womens 5000 Metres Final - 40 year old Jo Pavey of England turned back the clock to run an inspired race and claim a Bronze medal behind favoured Kenyans Mercy Cherono (Gold) and Janet Kisa (Silver) (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cram/Foster, PAL)

Disc 8
Mens 100 Metres Final - In the absence of World and Olympic champion Usain Bolt, fellow Jamaican Kemar Bailey-Cole claimed Gold in 10 seconds flat. England's Adam Gemili took Silver with Jamaican Nickel Ashmeade claiming Bronze. The Silver was Gemili's 1st senior medal (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cram, PAL)

Mens 4 x 100 Metres Heat - Jamaica began their Defense of their title with an easy run-out in the heats. Jamaica qualified 1st, followed by Nigeria. The Jamaican team were anchored by Usain Bolt (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cram, PAL)

Mens 4 x 100 Metres Final - Jamaica successfully defended their title with a tight win at a rainy Hampden Park. The Jamaican quartet featured Usain Bolt, Kemar Bailey-Cole, Nickel Ashmeade and Jason Livermore with Bolt running the anchor leg. The Silver went to England ( Adam Gemili, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Richard Kilty and Danny Talbot) who led briefly at the final changeover (10, 1 Disc, BBC - Cram, PAL)

Mens 4 x 400 Metres Final - At a rainy Hampden Park, England sensationally won the Gold, holding off a strong challenge from the Bahamas at the line. The England quartet of Conrad Williams, Michael Bingham, Daniel Awde and Matt Hudson-Smith stormed ahead with 250 metres to go and then held on to take the Gold.
