Mens Triathlon - England's Alex Yee added to his Olympic Gold with Commonwealth Gold in a comeback win in Birmingham. Yee trailed New Zealander Hayden Wilde by 16 seconds through Transition 2, but a strong run brought him level in the final stretch and the win was confirmed when Wilde had to take a 10 second penalty in the sin bin with the finish line in sight. Womens Triathlon - Flora Duffy of the Bahamas retained her Commonwealth title with a strong run in the Birmingham heat. Womens 800M Final - In an astonishing race, Kenyan Mary Moraa stunned the field, going from last to first on the final lap to win Gold. Womens 4x400M Relay Final - In a sensational finish in the final race of the Games, England held on at the death, winning Gold on a dip at the line to win by 0.1 of second over the Canadians. But after the race, England were disqualified after a lane infringement and Canada were promoted to Gold, with Jamaica in Silver and Scotland in Bronze. Womens 87kg+ Weightlifting - England's Emily Campbell won Gold, beating Samoan defending champion Feagaiga Stowers into Silver and Australian Charisma Tarrant into Bronze. Womens Hockey Gold Medal Match - England (2) v (1) Australia - England finally won the Commonwealth Gold, beating their old enemy in a sensational final. England took a 2-0 lead with 2 goals in the 2nd quarter, then controlled the game the rest of the way to take the win. Australia did score in the final seconds of the game but it was too late to make a difference. The England goals came from Holly Hunt and Tess Howard. The Australia goal came from Ambrosia Malone. Netball Pool A - Jamaica (57) v (55) Australia - A match-up between the top 2 teams in Pool A went the way of the Jamaicans in an upset. Jamaica trailed by as many as six goals heading into the final quarter, but Jamaica surged back to take the win, their first ever over Australia at the Commonwealth Games. The star for Jamaica was captain Jhaniele Fowler, who scored 47 goals. She was also supported by Shanice Beckford who scored 10 goals. Netball Pool B - England (54) v (44) New Zealand - England booked a place in the Semi-Finals with a big win against New Zealand, and finished top of Pool B. England held a slim 1-goal lead at half-time, but turned the game around with a great defensive performance, securing a 7-goal lead that they defended to the end. England featured Eleanor Cardwell (26 goals) and Goalkeeper Geva Mentor, who had a big game. New Zealand featured Grace Nweke (23 goals) (9, 1 Disc, BBC - Barker/Cookey, PAL)

Closing Ceremony - The 2022 Commonwealth Games ended with a spectacular closing ceremony that show-cased the best in Brummie music, culminating in a surprise performance by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
