09/09/23 - Oregon (38) @ (30) Texas Tech - #13 Oregon survived an upset bid by unranked Texas Tech in Lubbock, scoring 10 points in the final 1:10 of the game to win. The Red Raiders, led by a big game from former Oregon QB Tyler Shough (24-38-282-3 + 23-101-1), led 27-18 at the start of the 4th quarter, but the Ducks out-scored Texas Tech 20-3 in the final 15 minutes, with the game-sealing TD coming on a 45 yard interception return TD. 21/10/23 - Texas Tech (14) @ (27) BYU - BYU welcomed Texas Tech to Provo for the first time and forced 5 turnovers to beat the Red Raiders. Texas Tech out-gained BYU by 389 yards to 277 yards, but couldn't overcome 3 Interceptions and 2 lost fumbles as the Cougars ran out to a 24-7 lead at half-time and coasted home to the win. BYU featured QB Kedon Slovis (15-27-127-2), RB LJ Martin (10-93-0) and WR's Darius Lassiter (4-47-1) and Isaac Rex (4-41-0). 11/11/23 - Florida (35) @ (52) LSU - On a record-setting night at Tiger Stadium, #19 ranked LSU out-gunned unranked Florida to beat the Gators for the 5th straight time. The star of the show was LSU QB Jayden Daniels (17-26-372-3 + 12-234-2 including TD runs of 85 and 51 yards) who boosted his Heisman Trophy campaign by becoming the first ever QB to pass for 350 yards and rush for 200 yards in the same game. Overall he accounted for 606 yards of total Offense and 5 TD's. Both teams were evenly matched 7:16 into the 3rd Quarter, and the Gators held a slim lead 28-24. But LSU out-scored Florida 28-7 the rest of the way to take the win. LSU also featured RB Josh Williams (11-30-1) and WR's Brian Thomas Jr (6-150-2) and Malik Nabers (6-132-0). 01/01/24 - Rose Bowl - Alabama (20) v (27) Michigan - #1 ranked Michigan booked their place in the National Championship game with a tough win against #4 ranked Alabama at the Rose Bowl. The Wolverines had to claw back a 10 point deficit in the 4th quarter to force overtime, where they scored a TD. Alabama tried to answer but on 4th down at the Michigan 3, the Wolverines defense held and sealed the win. Michigan featured QB JJ McCarthy (17–27-221-3 + 3-25-0), RB Blake Corum (19-83-1) and WR Roman Wilson (4-73-1).
