24/11/18 - LSU (72) @ (74) Texas A&M - In a record-setting game at Kyle Field, unranked Texas A&M ended their regular season with a 7-Overtime win against #8 ranked LSU. The game set NCAA records for most combined points scored (146), the longest game (4 hours 53 minutes) and most points scored in a Southeastern Conference game (74). Both teams were evenly matched throughout the 4 quarters, with neither team leading by more than 7 points. But LSU thought they had it won, when they intercepted the Aggies on the last play of the game when up by 7. The refs ruled that the Texas A&M QB was down before the interception, though, and put 1 second back on the clock. And the Aggies sensationally tied the game with a 19-yard TD pass to force overtime.
