But the Bruins fought back to force overtime with 2:39 left in the game before Knight and the Aggies Defense stepped up to secure the win. But Wisconsin used great Defense to keep the Tigers scoreless and won the game themselves with a FG with 3:47 left to play. TCU suddenly found some momentum and reeled of 21 unanswered points to sensationally take the lead with 2:05 left. The Hogs found one last effort and forced overtime with a TD pass and 2XP with 1:03 left. With 4 seconds left in the game, the Cowboys threw an incomplete pass and celebrated as the clock ticked to 0:00. The win was Stanford's 9th in a row over the Bruins. UCLA contained the potent Cardinal Offense for 3.5 quarters, holding a 13-9 lead with 6:32 left in the game. But the Cardinal put together 1 final drive of 70 yards to score the go-ahead TD with 24 seconds left. UCLA's final chance at the win ended in a fumble on the last play that Stanford returned for a game-clinching TD by the Defense. But Virginia Tech came out fired up after the break and reeled off 35 unanswered points to stun the Razorbacks and take the win. The comeback was the biggest in Virginia Tech history. But the game turned into a shootout in the 4th quarter as the Wolverines fought back to take a 30-27 lead with 1:57 left. The Seminoles answered immediately, returning the kick-off 65 yards before taking the lead for good with a 12 yard TD pass with 36 seconds left. Michigan blocked and returned the PAT for 2 points but the Wolverines last chance on Offense ended with an interception and the Seminoles celebrated the win.
