Regular Season - Duke Blue Devils (98) @ (96) Maryland Terrapins - #2 ranked Duke staged one of their greatest comebacks as they rallied from a 10 point deficit in the final minute to force Overtime then finished off #10 ranked Maryland at Cole Field House to steal the win. Maryland had the better of Duke for the majority of the game, using a great Defensive game-plan to frustrate the Blue Devils, and when the game entered the final minute with Duke trailing 90-80 the win seemed assured for the Terps. But the Blue Devils, led by point guard Jason Williams (25 points), scored 10 unanswered points to force Overtime. Once in the extra period, Duke rode the momentum of the comeback to shock Maryland and win the game. Connecticut Huskies (76) @ (77) Miami Hurricanes - Miami Forward Darius Rice (43 points) intercepted an inbound pass, spun and hit a 3 pointer as time expired to beat the Huskies, who were led by Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor (9, 2 Discs, ESPN - Shulman/Raftery, PAL)

Regular Season - Syracuse Orangemen (93) @ (84) Georgetown Hoyas - #15 ranked Syracuse survived an upset bid by unranked Georgetown, but needed to go to Overtime to do so. Syracuse fought back from a 12 point deficit in the 2nd half and could have won the game in the final minute, but poor free-throw shooting allowed Georgetown to take the Orange to Overtime. Once in the extra period, Syracuse took control and ran out easy winners. The star players for each team had big games : Syracuse's Carmelo Anthony (30 points, 15 rebounds) and Georgetown's Mike Sweetney (31 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists, 7 blocks). Regular Season - Marquette Golden Eagles (78) @ (73) Louisville Cardinals - At the Freedom Hall in Louisville, #10 ranked Marquette rallied from a big deficit in the 1st half to beat #11 ranked Louisville. The Cardinals defense ruled the 1st half as they forced Marquette into 6 early turnovers en-route to a 42-23 lead. But the Golden Eagles fought back, led by star player Dwayne Wade (28 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists), and went ahead for good in the final minutes to atone for their home loss to Louisville 12 days earlier. Marquette also featured Scott Merritt (18 points), Travis Deiner (16 points, 4 assists) and Scott Novak. Regular Season - Wake Forest Demon Deacons (119) @ (114) North Carolina Tarheels - In a shootout in Chapel Hill, #14 ranked Wake Forest outlasted #4 ranked North Carolina in 3 overtimes in what turned out to be the 2nd highest scoring ACC game ever. Both teams were evenly matched and Wake Forest only managed to push ahead when the Tarheels big man Sean May fouled-out with 3:41 left in the 3rd overtime. Wake Forest were led by Chris Paul (18 points, 8 assists), Eric Williams (24 points, 8 rebounds) and Justin Gray (20 points, 4 assists). The Demon Deacons led by 6 points at the half and extended their lead to 14 points in the 2nd half before Duke fought back with a late flurry of three-pointers, but Wake Forest held on to take the win. Maui Invitiational - Semi-Final - Michigan State (106) v (109) Gonzaga - Gonzaga Forward Adam Morrison scored a tournament record 43 points as he led the Bulldogs into 3 overtimes before defeating the Spartans. The Spartans forced overtime with a 3 pointer at the buzzer from Maurice Auger (36 pts). The Zags also featured JP Batista (22 pts) and Derek Raivio (26 pts). Connecticut (65) v (63) Gonzaga - In a close game, UConn won the tournament with Denham Brown hitting an 8 foot jump hook with 1.1 seconds left. Regular Season - Ohio State (60) @ (86) Florida - #3 Ohio State visited the reigning champions and #4 ranked Gators. Florida raced out to a 38-29 half-time lead but the Buckeyes fought back with a 9-0 run at the start of the 2nd half. Florida then sealed the game with a devastating 33-9 run that turned the game into a blowout. Ohio State star Greg Oden finshed with 7 points, 4 blocks, 6 rebounds and a steal. Texas (103) @ (105) Oklahoma State
- In a wild shootout that went into 3 Overtimes, #12 ranked Oklahoma State finally won on a 3 pointer by Mario Boggan with 3.2 secs left. Boggan (37 points, 20 rebounds) had a huge game as did Texas's Kevin Durant (37 points, 12 rebounds) who brought Texas back from a 5 point deficit to force Overtime and then hit a 3 pointer with 10 seconds left in the 3rd Overtime that nearly won it. - Wisconsin finally beat Illinois in Illinois after 10 years of trying. Wisconsin were ahead 35-31 at the half but had to survive a late scare as the Illini took a 62-61 lead with 2 minutes remaining before re-gaining the lead and closing out the win. The stars for the Badgers were Forward Alando Tucker (20 pts, 8 rebs) and Kammron Taylor (17 pts). Illinois featured Shaun Pruitt (19 pts, 14 rebs) and Rich McBride. Wisconsin (48) @ (49) Ohio State
- In the 1st ever meeting between #1 and #2 teams from the Big 10 conference, it was the Buckeyes who stole the game when Mike Conley Jr (11 pts) hit the winning shot with 4 secs left. Regular Season - Texas A&M Aggies (96) @ (98) Texas Longhorns - The big Texas rivalry game went the way of the home team as the #15 ranked Longhorns used 2 overtimes to beat #6 ranked Texas A&M. Texas were led by Kevin Durant (30 points, 16 rebounds), in his final home game, and Texas A&M were led by Acie Law (33 points, 5 assists) and both players had big games, with Law responsible for forcing both overtime sessions with clutch shooting. Regular Season - Texas Longhorns (86) @ (90) Kansas - #3 ranked Kansas claimed their 3rd Big 12 Title with a big comeback against #15 ranked Texas. The Jayhawks trailed by 16 points in the 1st half as Kevin Durant (32 points, 9 rebounds) and DJ Augustin (19 points, 13 assists) started well, but Durant then hurt his ankle in the 2nd half and Kansas used the shift in momentum to get back in the game with a 24-7 run and take the win. Big 12 Championship - Texas Longhorns (84) v (88) Kansas Jayhawks - #1 seed Kansas won their 2nd straight Big-12 Championship but needed a record-setting performance to beat #3 seed Texas in Overtime. Kansas had to overcome an early 32-10 deficit and forced Overtime with a game-tying 3-pointer with 15 seconds left. Once in Overtime, the Jayhawks went ahead for good and held on to win the title. The comeback from the 22 point deficit was a Kansas record. Kansas featured Sherron Collins (20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists), Brandon Rush (19 points, 7 rebounds), Julian Wright (19 points, 8 rebounds) and Mario Chalmers (17 points). Big East Tournament Final - Georgetown (65) v (42) Pittsburgh - Georgetown started very strong and put away the Panthers early, going in at the half 32-17 up and cruised to their 1st Big East title since 1989. California (80) @ (81) UCLA - #3 UCLA trailed for most of the game but Freshman Kevin Love (22 pts, 6 rebs) and Josh Shipp brought the team back and won the game on a sensational rainbow jumper over the backboard with 1.5 seconds left. North Carolina (76) @ (68) Duke
- #1 North Carolina held off #5 Duke on an emotional night in Durham to win the regular season ACC title. The Tarheels were led by Danny Green (18 pts) and Tyler Hansbrough (16 pts, 15 rebs) while Duke were led by Greg Paulus (15 pts) (10, 2 Discs, ESPN - Shulman/Vitale, PAL)

ACC Tournament Semi-Final - Virginia Tech Hokies (66) v (68) North Carolina Tarheels - #1 seed North Carolina moved on to the ACC Final with a tough, last-second win over #4 seed Virginia Tech. The Tarheels had beaten the Hokies by 39 points in their meeting earlier in the season, but the Hokies came to play in the Semi-Final. Virginia Tech led by as much as 8 points in both the 1st and 2nd halves, but the Tarheels rallied to tie the game at 59-59 with 3:11 left. The teams went back and forth over the final minutes, and with 21 seconds left the teams were tied at 66-66. North Carolina had the ball for the final possession but the game-winning shot by Ty Lawson (5 points) missed, only for Tyler Hansbrough (26 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals) to chase down the rebound and hit a jumper with 0.8 seconds left to win the game. Notre Dame (81) v (80) Texas - In the first Top 10 match-up of the season, #8 Notre Dame upset #6 Texas. The Irish built on a 43-40 lead at the half but when star Power Forward Luke Harangody (29 points, 13 rebounds) missed 2 free-throws with 3 seconds left and only up by 1 point it seemed that Texas might steal the win. But a last play half-court shot hit the rim and Notre Dame celebrated the win. Both teams combined for 49 3-point shots. CBE Classic Final -
Syracuse (89) v (81) Kansas
- Syracuse fought back from a 13 point deficit in the 2nd half to take #22 ranked Kansas into Overtime where they finished them off and won the title. Syracuse forced 14 turnovers. Syracuse were led by Jonny Flynn (25 points), Eric Devendorf (20 points), Arinze Onuaku (19 points, 12 rebounds) and Paul Harris (14 points, 14 rebounds). Regular Season - Davidson Wildcats (78) @ (82) Oklahoma Sooners - At the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma, the #14 ranked Sooners held on for the win in a shootout against #21 Davidson. The Sooners, led by star players Blake Griffin (25 points, 21 rebounds), Taylor Griffin (16 points) and Willie Warren (20 points), ran out to a 61-40 lead in the 2nd half but Davidson's pre-season All-American Stephen Curry (44 points, 3 assists) then took over. Regular Season - Ohio State Buckeyes (73) @ (68) Miami Hurricanes - The Buckeyes upset #22 Miami after completing a big comeback from 14 points down in the 2nd half. The game started great for Miami as they were deadly from 3 point land but then star Guard Jack McClinton was ejected for slapping an Ohio State player and the 'Canes struggled to replace him. Meanwhile, Ohio State clawed their way back into the game through the shooting of Evan Turner (19 points) and star Sophomore Jon Diebler (20 points inc. 6 x 3 pointers) and great defense that forced 18 turnovers by Miami. USC Trojans (72) @ (73) Oklahoma Sooners
- #6 ranked Oklahoma survived a 2nd half rally to beat the Trojans from USC. The Sooners were 11 points up when star player Blake Griffin (25 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists) was elbowed below the waist and temporarily knocked out of the game. The USC player with the foul, Leonard Washington, was ejected from the game. In Griffin's absence, the Trojans rallied to within 1 point but the Sooners used late free-throws to stay ahead. - Temple used a fast start to unsettle the #8 ranked Vols and then survived a 2nd half comeback to seal the win. Temple Guard Dionte Christmas (35 pts inc. 7 x 3 pointers) had a huge game and was supported by Sergio Olmos (19 pts, 5 blocks). - Stephen Curry (29 pts, 8 rebs, 6 ass) and Davidson gave #2 ranked Duke all they could handle but an early 10 point deficit proved too big to overcome. - In the 2nd meeting of the season between the 2 teams, Tennessee forced Overtime with a tieing shot with 26 seconds left to force Overtime but that only prolonged the inevitable as Gonzaga dominated Overtime to win the game. Tennessee were led by Wayne Chism (15 pts, 19 rebs, 3 ass) and Cameron Tatum (22 pts). - #20 ranked Louisville finally put together a great game to upset #12 Notre Dame, taking them to Overtime before closing out the win. The Cardinals used a fast-paced attack in the 1st half then stifling defense in the 2nd half and Overtime to wear out Notre Dame. Irish star Luke Harangody (28 pts, 13 rebs) and a big game before fouling out just before Overtime. Regular Season - Cleveland State Vikings (72) v (69) Syracuse Orangemen - Cleveland State upset #11 ranked Syracuse with a last play 60 foot buzzer-beater, giving the Orange their 1st loss of the season. The teams were tied 30-30 at the half, but the Vikings were the better team, led by J'Nathan Bullock (18 points) and Norris Cole (16 points, 6 assists). In the final seconds, with the score tied at 69-69 and overtime looming, the Vikings Cedric Jackson (13 points) took the in-bound pass and heaved a 60 foot shot that went in off the backboard to stun the Carrier Dome crowd. - Oklahoma finally ended their 6 game losing streak to Texas, building a big lead in the 1st half then holding on in the 2nd half. Oklahoma star Forward Blake Griffn (20 pts, 10 rebs) had his 14th career double-double and was supported by Willie Warren (17 pts, 5 rebs) and Tony Crocker (16 pts, 9 rebs). - #8 ranked Syracuse beat the #12 ranked Irish with a great display of fast-break offense. The Orange outscored Notre Dame 54-24 in the paint, had 39 fast break points and beat them for the first time in 3 games. 6 players scored in double figures for Syracuse but the stars were Arinze Onuaku (19 points, 8 rebs, 4 blocks) and Johnny Flynn (17 points, 9 ass.). - #3 ranked North Carolina used a strong 2nd half to comeback against the #6 ranked Blue Devils and handed them their 5th rivalry loss in 6 games. Duke led at the half 52-44 thanks to Kyle Singler (22 points) and Jon Scheyer (20 points) but the Tarheels exploded in the 2nd half with Ty Lawson (25 points, 4 rebs, 5 ass.) and Tyler Hansbrough (17 points, 6 rebs.) leading the way. ACC Championship Semi-Final -
Florida State Seminoles (73) v (70) North Carolina Tarheels
- Florida State reached their first ever ACC Championship final and did it the hard way by beating #1 ranked North Carolina. Regulation ended 71-71 and with Eric Devendordf (22 points) apparently hitting the game winner as the buzzer went. But the officials deemed the shot a fraction too late and the overtimes started. By the 6th overtime, several key players had fouled out including Devendorf, Arinze Onuaku (8 points, 9 rebounds) and Kristof Ongenaet (4 points, 9 rebounds) for Syracuse and Haseem Thabeet (19 points, 4 rebounds) and Stanley Robinson (28 points, 14 rebounds) for UConn.
